Good (Sunday) morning. A crisp overnight Low of -0.2C and it's presently 5.9C [heading to 19C], clear & calm.

In addition to dhobying my new towels/trackie-daks, I went out to the shed and put the 4105 onto the battery charger... just because I thought that the tractor was 'struggling' a bit to start. Heck, it's the original battery and 12 years old to boot. I'll take it off charge after I get home from Church.

Which I am off to in about 20 minutes, and then the rest of the day is His.

Lots of manure tankers around here also, it can have a pretty potent smell to it at times. And a few that still use regular manure spreaders and many that use both.

Lou, you are right about that ! And some very large manure pits also ! At least it’s cow manure and not other !

Keeping costs down as full dinners have gotten out of hand around here.

Ken, couldn’t agree more ! Then throw in a couple glasses of wine or even a bottle the price skyrockets !

D is ready to leave tomorrow for Tokyo, Sapporo, Osaka, Hanoi, Halong Bay, Ventiane, Bangkok. Tokyo and then back November 6. Mostly BB accommodations minimalistic as they are in Japan but the hotel in Hanoi looks nice.
Traveling with two friends and glad they are big and strong guys over 6 ft tall

Good evening all. 65ºF for the start, scattered clouds, light breeze. Light wind, brisk gusts, sky cleared in afternoon, and high temp was 94ºF. Made coffee to start morning, bike ride 63.7 miles, route went through Pilot Point, and they were having Bonnie and Clyde days. We spent about 1 1/2 hours there before continuing on. Dinner with Stepdaughter and hubby, dog was very happy to see me.

Ted Hope you get your rain, we have rain in forecast finally. Sorry about the loss of the cedar. We have been losing pine trees and oak trees, the oaks are getting a root fungus, maybe something like that got your cedar. Hope the replacement does better.

Coffee has finished brewing. 51° with rain this morning. Heading to 53° with continued rain. .58" of rain overnight. Changed oil and filter on house generator after it ran its weekly 20 minute run. Repaired a small air line on shop air compressor. Did some tree limb trimming at neighbors compost pile. Hauled all the limbs to chipper pile. Going to be stay inside day doing some house work. With NASCAR in afternoon.

48 high of 80 today grass mowing on tap limb pickup too. Feel asleep in chair last night just woke up. Had diarrhea yesterday afternoon not sure what that’s about not feeling bad now.

69 in Giddings Texas going up to a hot 97 today
but I'm heading East to Beaumont TX where high is 90 today
nice quiet night here, up early to shower

my time in Texas has certainly been fun, plus bonus of meeting three
TBN guys. Now i"m on the last leg home, with New Orleans my next place to discover.
Then I have to make reservations for rest of way home, now that hurricanes are hopefully done

When checking out Beaumont saw there was a big Goodyear plant there. Looked that up, they make synthetic rubber for tires and golf balls.

Good morning, the low is 37 and going to a high of 50°F. Wind NE 9 mph. Mainly sunny.

I think I know what is wrong with the conveyor, but I really don't need it until next fall. I'll fix it if I can if for no other reason but to oil the trough.

I don't know what else I will get up to today, but rest assured it wont be much.
