Good evening all. 65ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Light wind, sky partly cloudy, and high temp was 92ºF, HI 95ºF. Made coffee to start day, bike ride, added extra lap to help make up missed riding days. Nap after lunch, A/C quit during nap so awaiting call back in morning.

Thomas hope rest of day went well.
Billy knee is fine except for skin abrasions. Pride may take longer Glad you and Della got hike in to swimming river.

Waiting on coffee to cool a little. 47° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 70° with mix of sun and clouds. Grocery shopping went good. No shortages of anything. Did not see anyone with TP in their cart. Never got to mowing grass. Top of the list today. Need to power wash Flail Mower and put it away for the year.
Sedums are a darker color this year.

Ron, our sedums are darker this year, too.

Our electric company announced a rate increase...talked about inflation affecting costs...was thinking it would be increases in fuel and wages, but never thought about these items:

Hiked up in the mountains yesterday. Never seen the water levels so high, especially after drought all summer. In and out of cool misty clouds all day. Autumn is in full swing. Found the most unique hiking companion. 17 year old parrot.

Outside chores done.
Plans for today...4 hours at part store afterwards stop for critter food,afternoon curl up with kittens go back to bed not waken until tomorrow morning.

51 going to 72.
Just popped in to say another year of retirement for @Thomas and I! Seems like only yesterday not 4 and 5 years ago!
Got the wife's car washed and waxed yesterday. Should be set for a while. Need to do my truck now. Did a little more leaf cleanup and then decided my body had enough! Was in bed by 7 pm. and didn't wake up till 5 am this morning!
Hopefully get in the shop for a while today. Or not....might just relax.
