Got some mowing in yesterday before the rain and heading into Dentist. My new crown installed.

Looks like I can get another couple hours mowing before taking Sophie in for ophthalmologist appointment. Another round of laser to repair the cleft he found. Hopefully his evaluation of first attempt will be positive.

Likely late lunch in town again. Yesterday was a bit disappointing. Appeared to be another round price increase and shrinkage. At least the beer volume was the same. Been going to this place over 20 years, a Happy Hour favorite pre covid. Won’t be rushing our return.

Finally able to talk with dealer tech about my LS. He was finally able to observe the stalling issue. Hope to have more info by end of week.

I did rest, then heard mowers running, sick of being in bed, so very slowly rode around yard and mowed
and I feel ok now, so that's a plus

Got to mow a few hours before coming to town. Talked with soon to be new neighbor mowing just above my area. Mowing with one of those tracked Altoz zero turns. Cost almost same as Sophie’s BX. Said he really liked it. I had cut that same field several times with my ft rotary. Seems like the Altoz a bit overkill, but hey, lots of people with more money than me.

Have to get diesel while here

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 11C and it's presently 17.2C, overcast with drizzle & calm. There was 2.5mm in the gauge @ 0900.

I've already been & back from the consulting offices at the Base Hospital for my 3 monthly podiatrist appointment... mainly toenail cutting (type II diabetes) & heel callus maintenance.

Wandered over to see the "Mad Hose Woman" to confirm that she's 'in' for the paddock liming... first time in ages that I've actually been over (even though it's just next door) to that 6 acre paddock and it REALLY needs a lot of attention. Fortunately, she's still keen to have the lime.

Now I'm just waiting for the liming contractor to 'get back to me'... it is liming 'season' so he's probably very busy.

What with the very welcome rain/drizzle, an indoor day is planned.

Good evening all. 75ºF for the start, partly cloudy, breezy. Windy guts to 25 mph, Thunderstorms developed late afternoon and early evening, some severe, no rain here, high temp was 90ºF, HI 96ºF. Made coffee to start day, Men's meeting, bike ride, wind strong enough average air speed 1 mph faster than ground speed. Trip to town for lunch estate work, SUV inspection, and groceries. Grilled brats for dinner, no nap. Got kitchen cleaned up, more laundry and mowing to do.
