Good Morning.
Grey and 39° outside high in the middle 40’s, raining by noon.

Good day for continuing the shop cleanup. My wife pointed out to me that if I didn’t do anything over there, I would have to cleanup all the time. Progress seems to leave a mess behind if I’m involved.

Yesterday was a gorgeous day to be outside. I relented and let Zoe run and get muddy, she “helped” carry the feed and shavings to the barn, I kicked her soccer ball for her and was amused by her antics.

Did some RC flying, helped build a playhouse/bed for grandson.

It barely fit, but he is really excited about it. The project took my son and I over 2 hours to assemble.

Looks like we are going out to dinner tonight with all the kids

Yes. Normally you can drive a truck to it, if it’s a bit wet, I’ll use the carryall, but it’s essentially a swamp now. It definitely less work to carry than to repair the damage driving to it would do.
Had a John Deere Gator 6x4 with big floating type tires that worked really well on soft ground

Morning all, 42 going to 47 and cloudy, more rain on the way.
First crocuses opening. Always amazed at how different our climate is than at the base of the hill, where most of their daffodils are already up and open, ours are barely up yet.

Got the shelves all painted and ready to go up, will buff them out a bit first.
The Krylon paint seems thinner than I remember, guess I won't be buying that anymore.
Took three coats + to get the metal looking good, this is the primer+paint type that has worked well for me in the past.
Ordered the parts for the wood shelves and will put them up when they arrive.

Shelves go up today as the rain will keep me from doing more yard cleanup.

In PA dhobi is warshing :)

Wife is starting to recover, rough few days for her.

Buppies, get some rest and don't push it today. Maybe try a neck pillow?

Drew, I don't like to call it insufficiency, maybe glandularly challenged. It is amazing how complex the digestive system is and how many organs are involved. Out of balance can make for a bad day for sure. Hope you get your medicine soon.

Wife keeps telling me to leave pills in car and other places so I don't forget them, but they don't like heat or freezing temperatures.

Be well,

1. The potatoes experiment continues, so far 100% of the whole potatoes (ping pong ball size) are up and 90% of the cut potatoes are up. I will have to wait till May to see which one produces the most potatoes.

2. the greenhouse plants have taken off in the warm weather. I bought $20 (10 plants) to put in the raised beds at the house. (Roma Tomatoes, fennel, basil, peppers.)

boy that's the kind of greenhouse I want, and can't afford....
Don, that's an awesome benefit and you aren't changing the propane bottles either...
home sweet home. Route 30 I decided is not overly attractive and very bumpy.
only hit some light drizzle, backed in on second attempt, a birdie, and hustled back to greenhouse.

amazingly all in one piece and the burner was still on, the tank level gauge in the yellow near red.
I lucked out with the timing. I'll let it run out today and put a new tank on later today.
there are several days of transplanting ahead of me, much of second batch needs to be up potted and the
impatiens I planted too thickly the first time needs to be up potted also, basically breaking it in half and making two new bunches.
all fun stuff for me

took the cinnamon bread over to my neighbor, she was delighted
I've never seen so many types of unusual bread in my life as I did in the ten or so bakery booths at the Central Market in Lancaster.
lots of super fresh veggies, the radishes I bought are large and the most beautiful color, and a little spicy.
Speaking of spicy...one stand was for fresh horseradish. Lady preparing it right in front of you. Pungent for sure.
About half a dozen meat stands, beef looked very red, not very marbled. They seem to like it very lean
sounds chewy to me

Ron, my golf cart doesn't have one either. I need to drop the voltage down

64°F and 1.04 inches rain. Sun may be trying.

Up about 3AM due to power failure. Operator error. Generator started right up and system reset. Need to see which setting needs tweaking from replacement a couple months ago.

Otherwise another slow day ahead, too wet for anything outside.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

42° and .45” rain so far.
Lots of puddles on the trip to breakfast. Got a larger breakfast than usual and was too much. Because of rain we sat around and chatted awhile.
Now sitting by the stove, pebbles on my lap, Tiger on the stove.
