Coffee has been poured. 32° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 47° with mostly cloudy skies. Got pond winterized. New starter for JD mower arrived. Installed. Mower started on first try. Windrowed some of the leaves that have fallen in yard. Grocery shopping this morning. Then back to shop projects in afternoon.

Buckeye, I am noticing that a lot of Amazon prices are higher than local. Finding lower prices requires search time. Hope snagglepuss got out of garage and in your lap.

Buppies, will you get Moh's surgery? The dermatologist group I went to yesterday just opened a big adjacent office for it. I was lucky...had to get 4 squirts, but she saw no other problems. Then stopped by Costco on way home to pick up things on my wife's list...plus, muffins looked so good, I bought the 2 6-packs required...got home and wife said we still have about 10 in freezer from last time. ...gas at 2.96.

Ron, when I went walking back in our woods yesterday to pick up sticks and check game cams, a mixed flock of small birds flew up and a couple of white breasted nuthatches made as much noise as I've ever heard them make. Most of our leaves are on the ground after yesterday's wind, but some of the oaks are still mostly green.

23 outside this AM. Heading to lower 50's. Had to check that cold temp, yep...

Of course I threw seed yesterday. LOL. Well. the ground heave should absorb it for spring.

Milk House is officially roughed in for plumbing. Got the one pipe moved out of the way for some cabinetry or wall work. Need to get fixtures and figure out what I am doing with the old sinks. Original old sinks. I have given myself two weeks of time to get that all together. Will require elbow grease or a trip to a re-glazing company. Need to scratch build one cabinet for the kitchen, need to drill holes in another for the bathroom. Wife is behind schedule picking her fixtures out. Lots of tile work in my future. Should be fun.

This AM after an animal check, time to go find some more firewood. Way, way behind on that.

Good Morning
27 with a high of 47 today under clear skies.
Got hoses off of all the outdoor hydrants Tuesday evening. One of the was actually open, good thing the hose and nozzle were tight.
Class went well, technology was flawless.

After we were done, dropped the old Prius off at the detailers to get dechummed. Still not sure what it’s ultimate fate will be.

Another day of training today, and then should be done.
It’s going well, mostly review of subjects and systems they already understand, which makes it easy for me.

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

17.2F going to upper 50s, sunny day.

Harry is back, trainer had a comedy of errors bringing him back, was supposed to be here 9AM, finally arrived after 5PM… He is MUCH better behaved and walks so much better! Needs to put on a bit of weight again, he was not too enthusiastic about his food While away.

on the plus side, the series of delays enabled me to run a bunch of reclaimed pallet wood on the table saw and chop saw and make pieces for covering the stub wall in the bathroom and behind the commode. This also made about three 5-gallon pails of kindling wood, which is always useful, too.

Chiro visit today for carpal tunnel, I will likely stack the firewood we dumped last week — it makes sense to do that BEFORE going to chiro

PT yesterday was all on cane, goodbye walker during the daytime. We practiced getting in and out of the car and walked with cane for about 300 yards on the street.

Good morning, the low was 30°F and going to a high of 39. Wind SSE 7 mph. 40% chance of rain. We can wave goodbye to the 3" from yesterday morning.

What a rotten night last night was. Went to bed early (2 A.M.), up at 3 for a P. Rinse and repeat the rest of the night,up every hour Pn.

I got up at 7 and kicked the woodstove back into gear. Had a nice bed of coals to work with. Got my breakfast down my neck, now to see what trouble I can get into today.

Today is the normal dump run day but I think I will hold that off until Saturday or Sunday.

I found both in the woods, behind an out building when we moved here.
