Good Morning. Heating up again, triple digit highs peaking at 107 on Tuesday then a cooling trend. This is more of a fall weather trend than Summer. Days are getting shorter. I'll take it. Nothing planned this weekend. Thinking I will wash the Boxster today and take the Porsche for a top down drive up the mountain tomorrow early AM. It's always cooler up there and there is a rustic little indoor/outdoor diner at the summit for a cup of coffee in the pines.
Spent an hour updating the Foxwell OBD reader with the Porsche software and 30 minutes in the car to learn how to turn the little oil change message off after the service we did last weekend. Sheesh.
The Porsche Boxster S it is the best driving car I've ever experienced. Love the howling sound of the flat 6 with the precision handling. Of course it has a manual 6 spd for maximum driving enjoyment.

I hope you all have a great weekend.

Good Morning
73 with a high of 80 under partly cloudy, but dry skies. Yesterday’s 3/8” morning rain was it for the day.

It was windy and raining in the Vineyard yesterday, Ogdensburg was not raining, but low overcast. Sunny day at cruise on top of the clouds, but never really saw the ground until it was time to land.

Got home in time to give Zoe a run, collect the trash and recycling toters from the street, join my son for a bit of model flying, and put some stuff away.

Today started with a text telling me that the generator was exercising, first time since the lightning strike. Things are getting back to normal. But I’m still finding things. Went to plug the soldering station back in after I had it out for Drew’s motor home, and noticed this-

Apparently the lighting blew the reset button right out of the GFCI receptacle (and it was tripped). I’m pretty sure there are more Easter eggs waiting for me to find them. I think that I will walk around and turn everything I see on, just to see if it works.

I have a compressor to replace in a Bain Marie at the restaurant, but nothing else planned for today, just clean up and look for more broken stuff. And of course, the never ending paperwork for the various government agencies that I have to deal with

Congratulations on the anniversary Kyle.
It sure seems like a “Committed Relationship” isn’t the same commitment that it used to be.
I see so many divorces after a few years in the younger generations. Realistically, they are giving up before even getting to the real challenges!

I have posted it before, but here it is again

i have no affiliation other than being a satisfied customer, and they added my comments to their blog:

Thanks for posting again. Great job on your instructions, with your usual good humor blended in...nice hat and t-shirt.

Why is there a pole across the front door?
