Good Morning!!!! 87F @ 9:00AM. Abundant sunshine. Hot. High 104F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph.

Genuine or kit, I bet that red terror is a lot of fun to drive, huh Scootr?

Getting paid for making paper airplanes now, eh Paul?😳😂 Hard to say no to a new puppy, and even if Starlink doesn't live up to its own promises, it's still better that HughesNet was on its best ever day.

The adjusted price was about 2% below the original price, Kyle. Enough to cover repairs of safety items like misplaced or broken smoke and CO2 detecters and dangerous electrical issues. It only partly compensates for the missing 257 sq. ft. as established by the appraisal. Real estate agent says there is a shortage of homes on the market, and it's been that way there for a while. High rollers from LA sell their 1200 sq. ft. bungalow for $3M and head north to retire and think the Lompoc/Santa Maria prices are cheap. The seller of this place keeps saying they want a fast escrow, but they're not behaving as though they really do. Wednesday I'll have eyes on the other house, and will decide to either go with it or get bent over the barrel one last time with the one in escrow.

Thanks for the reminder on YouTubeTV, David. I still haven't dug into it, but moving would be a good time to ditch Dish. Are you getting cable channels like NatGeo and Discover?

No sleeping in this morning; been out on top of the van since 6:30 washing and waxing the roof. What a mess! What looks like calcium deposits at the bottom of all the ribs. Used one of Don's 3M Dobie pads to get most of it off, but it really needs a clay bar. The poor thing sat on the dealer's lot for five months, so there's a good chance they never washed it before delivery. I didn't check it, and now it looks like I should have. It is good exercise, just not the kind I like. Put on two coats of Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating, something I found out about from that detailer dude on YouTube. Put it on the Toyota a month ago, and so far it's holding up pretty well. Turtle wax says it'll last a year. We'll see. In here reading GM thread while wax hardens, then I'll wash and wax the side of the van that's in the shade. The other side is already too hot to hold your hand on.

Tomorrow is another early start. The Toyota gets its first maintenance visit to the dealer at a 7:40AM appointment. Gonna get breakfast while they check it over. The won't change the oil for another 5000 miles, so I'll change it myself when I get home.

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the day...

Well it’s a long shot, but it might have a centrifugal switch at the end opposite the shaft that would shift windings as the motor speeds up. If it does have one, it could be stuck.
Good Afternoon Popgadget,
So this is what it looks like inside, first picture is the centrifugal switch and second picture is the little toggle switch that I believe opens when it switches windings ! I can’t get it to work consistently! So at this point I’m thinking of purchasing aa DeWalt 2 hp 30 gal unit from TSC !
I think there are some other issues with this thing ! I could buy a new motor assembly for $350 but to me it seems better to buy a new unit for $599.95 !
Anyway, thanks all for your comments and suggestions! 🙏

Got back over leach field all mowed, started on east side.

Woman came out to garden.

Was running low on fuel so dispatched her to the corner gas station.

About that time the skies opened up and delivered a torrential downpour. Still pouring but slowing down some.

She didn’t get gas, was too windy, rain blowing under the canopy.

Went out for a short trip not far and wound up at a vineyard buying a couple of bottles. They use a converted bank barn for a bar and sales as well as several other buildings.

Wife was happy for the surprise trip.

Back now roasting more red peppers

@riptides - is the mower actually charging? Low voltage will let the clutch drop out
Have not had any battery issues. Starts right up. Will let the dealer figure it out. Maybe...maybe a bad clutch .....annoying.

Sitting watching my burn pile smoke...listening to tunes. Wife fed it greens earlier.

Back to a size that can be managed. LOL.

Got the tree out, was easier than expected. Just put a tow strap around the trunk, a few pulls with the loader, then rolled the bucket up....POP! Lifted the entire ball out in one piece. It's only been in the ground a bit more than 2 months, so only small roots holding it in.

Took it back to the burn pile.... which is getting large.....
Smashed it down a little bit, broke the dirt off.

Then got out the pressure washer and cleaned off all the spider webs on the front porch roof underside. Figured I may as well hit the walls, windows, and deck while I was at it. Wifey was pleased. Drip irrigation done for a few days.

I have been contemplating shortening the irrigation times, but then running it 3x a week vs. 2x. Not sure if it would make a difference, except create more "supervision" for my part.

95° out..... called it quits. I heard the left over NY strip steak calling me.... and the baked 'tater, and the white corn.....
Hope it's as good as last night's dinner.....
