Morning all, 75 going to 79. Heavy downpours.
Got over 3.5 " in less than an hour yesterday and water came in waves over the shared road.
Trench is a full river and had some minor flooding in pool.
Roads are a mess as the rocks the town put in the trenches got pushed out by flooding.
Drove over multiple downed branches and large piles of rocks to pick up son from work last night, and of course one of my headlights went out on the way down.
Police asked people to be careful and they are on search and rescue today!
More trees down and the rain is back to heavy this morning.
Emptied a few thousand gallons out of pool and will need to do again today.
Surveyer on the bridge told me the Leica setup they use is about $170,000, far cry from the theodolites we used in college.

PopGadget - if you need help chain sharpening let me know, I do all mine by hand including rakers and after doing it for 6 or so years can keep them really sharp.
Raining heavy enough now that the river is back..Clouds seem to hit the ridge above us and just dump rain. According to the rain gauge over 1.5" since I emptied it at 11pm, so 5" total so far since yesterday afternoon!
Anybody want to do some white water rafting in my side yard?
