Poured first cup of coffee. 46° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 84° with some clouds in afternoon. Did some cleanup and organizing in shop and pole barn yesterday. Will continue with that today. Setting up a place to charge power tool batteries.
Forgot to post this picture of Russian Olive bush in field next to my house last week.

Morning all! 49 going to 70 with off and on rain possible.
Busy day ahead for me. 4 tons of pellets being delivered. The cheapest we could find where $350 a ton!
Friend of my sister has a Harmon pellet stove that is 10 years old for sale for $500. Was over $4000 when new.
Looks new and very well taken care of decided to buy it.
After that the owner says "oh yah, you get the extra ton of pellets with it too"! That means the stove will only cost me $150 bucks! Looks like I'm going to be warm in the wood shop from now on!
Will take a few pics once it's moved and placed.

Medical wise wife and I have made no progress. I go to a pain management doc on Wednesday. See what happens. Coffee is calling!
Latest project out of the shop:

good morning all
54 going up to 80 today, nice June day

haven't fully unpacked but need to pick up, landlady coming this morning with samples
for new kitchen counter.
later this morning hope to fire up the power washer with the soap gun and wash the rv.
that will of course lead into other things, once the powerwasher is out, like cleaning off the lawnmower and whatever
else needs it. But on a nice day, usually fun to get wet.

slow to wake up.

lot of clover blooming but lawn hasn't grown much, probably no more mowing until it rains again.
I've been watering the grass a little right around entrance to home but lot of brown creeping in elsewhere.
quite the switch from the swamp out there earlier this year.

touch up paint came in for rv. More than I expected, might even be enough to put in a paint gun.
hmmm, who do I know has a paint gun and knows how to use it?...
needs a little more sanding first I'm sure.
funny, if it came in a rattle can I'd be confident using it.
I thought they were going to send me one of those little brush in a bottle things you get for cars but this is like a large pill bottle
full of paint.

sore neck this morning, as expected.

has anyone heard from Bird? If he is as hot as TxDon, Bird will be out at 4am mowing again.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

42.8F, hitting low 80s, no rain forecast today.

going to try to put in plants today, we will see how well that works out. This coming week I will need to go to the plumbing supply house, but the bullet, and drop coin on some 2” black poly tubing so I can run irrigation. Time to get those IBC totes into use…

coffee awaits…

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe Blessed day!

good morning, 51 going to 81 today, got a little rain yesterday but not nearly enough

Walked Cody fed the barn cats made coffee and hoping wife can sleep in a little longer this morning.

Plan to do full PT work out today. Ordered some work clothes treated for ticks to use when out in the bush.

Will see what I can get into to today?

Picked up prescription and a couple of items at the grocery store. Points are at 40 percent off on groceries or 2.25 dollars off on gas.

Drew, glad you are back home and the trip went well.

50 and a little ground fog, going to 84.

Nice job, Phil. You always have beautifully grained wood.

Interesting day yesterday with birds of prey. Saw a Cooper's hawk take a blackbird from the driveway near the birdfeeders in the morning. The Red-tailed hawks are feeding their young in the nest high in the pines. Then, just after sundown, was looking out the window for deer, and saw a Barred owl swoop down and snatch a meadow vole on the edge of the field about 20 yards away.

Good morning, the low temperature is 55 and going up to 79°F. Wind SE 4 mph. 40% chance of showers. The blackflies will be hungry today. There are showers in the forecast for the next 5 days for home.
There are 'special air quality statements' issued for both home and Timmins, due to smoke. I wont be smoking as many cigarettes.

First on the agenda is to cut the grass, then take the stock CB antennas (1/4 wave) off the truck and replace them with my 'oil coils' (one full wavelength each). I thought about installing the boot, but really cannot justify it for only 4 months. It isn't that hard, just 2 power wires + and -, and the two antenna cables, in and out. I already have the antennas that will handle the added power, but cant push myself to break the law that badly, 75 to 150 watts or 300 watts for the other one. I would have to use the virgin Uniden (3 watts) I have in the truck right now, the Cobra (25 watts) would fry the boots and it ain't no virgin.

Well if I don't get to it, then the blackflies wont get fed. lol

Have a safe day all
