good morning all
44 going up to 63 in fog and clouds this morning, more showers this afternoon.

have been having fun planning my next rv trip to Cedarville MI over July 4th.
Will be staying at Ron's home near Detroit thanks to his rv hookups on the way up and back, and then visiting with RS and wife
on way home. Until then, have a few minor things to get fixed on rv.
Sprayed the ground all around the parked rv with a mint bug spray, supposed to keep the ants away.

beautiful full moon last night

Kilroy, hope you feel better

Good evening all. 57ºF for the start, overcast sky, light breeze. Moderate wind with some brisk gusts, overcast sky with some sun peeking through, and high temp was 80ºF. Had line of t-storms move through about 8:30- 9:20PM. Radar estimates 1 + inch of rain. Temps forecast to be 90+ until rain starts again. Mowed front yard and back yard outside fence to start day, took wife to dermatology Dr, got lunch, went home.National day of Prayer meeting at pavilion, then bike ride, felt few rain drop while riding. No nap :( Afeter dinner updated wheel size on magnetic speedometer.

Buppies I did put about 700 hours on a Briggs flathead. Most people think that not bad. How does Central Missouri look June 5-10? Riding Katy trail and it's gravel. Prayers sent.
Ted sorry rain not promising. We just had line go through, radar says 1+ inch. As dry as you are mud won't stay mud long !

Thank you - I do feel better, even though I have a way to go to be full mobility and pain-free.

I know what you mean about dog hair. Our Sheltie sheds hair and it turns into tumbleweeds no matter how much we brush him
Remember: Dog Hair isn’t just a fashion accessory — it is also a condiment!

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

41.5F, going to upper 60s.

Back still giving me grief, but not as bad as yesterday. Energy conservation day today, only thing officially scheduled is vet visit for Harry for final shots so he can go to Boot Camp.

I sorted through and disposed of unnecessary accumulated papers, and made the office somewhat presentable.

Yesterday was also the first sunny day that did not have howling p, gusty winds, so I (very delicately and deliberately ) inspected the two beehives, which are doing quite well, and added the second box to both of them. They had drawn out all but the end frames, and were well on their way to finishing them, and their was comb above the inner lid, with honey and larvae, so it was the right time. plus the mountain laurels are starting to bloom, which will give the bees an extremely close source of pollen and nectar while they start building out the next frames. Plus I will continue with sugar syrup feeding as needed, and give them beeswax shavings to speed up comb building.

I hope everyone has a happy healthy, safe, painless Blessed Friday!

I have a way to go to be full mobility and pain-free.

sure hope you make it.
I had to give up on that a long time ago.
Primary doc told me last week when looking at latest CT scan,
do you realize how bad your back is?

like Bill, I just try to keep on trucking...

no cartilage left, all bone on bone, you just try to tune out the discomfort.
not always easy, and constant pain can make you a grump...
so far I have avoided all opioids, that has always been my ongoing goal.
am thankful a heated mattress pad, my hot tub, etc has really worked to reduce symptoms.

most of us are not recliner types. We get out there instead of staying home and watching tv.
just each year there is so much more I just can't do any more. Humbling for sure. But not depressing, every day is a gift.

looks like a very pretty morning, clear blue sky

Oh yeah - the spare tire mount for the quad should be ready today, so when I pick that up I can go across the street to the auto parts store and pick up some studs and lug nuts for it, and stop at the Post Office to send something Registered/Return Receipt.
