Good evening all. 47ºF for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Moderate wind, sky clouded up during day, and high temp was 64ºF. Cold front came through about noon, no rain, wind picked up. Bike ride to start day, 61 miles, couple of dog encounters, almost had to warmers back on. Made it weigh-in on time, live stream went with major issues once I got it started, and lasted 32 minutes. Came home and took a nap. Feet up after dinner.
David bet both the boys and Sophie will spend more than $500 on you! Glad welding was worked out. Good to hear new area made a good work area. Hope you can get repaired part back on mower.
Dennis one big issue was trying to use Firefox as browser, changed to Chrome and got much better results. One issue I could not figure out was choppy "chipmunk" sound from mic on webcam. Work around was to use internal mic decent sound but aimed wrong way.
Ron sorry more rain. Hope you can execute plans soon. Nice pic

Paul glad you worked out connectivity issue. Glad you are ready fo Bahamas trip, got some low limbs trimmed, and R/C flying in.
Jay good to hear you will catch up on rain next week. Interesting variety on the game-cam.
Drew I am surprised that the RV builder does not do more to upgrade the chassis, F series pickup truck handle well but the RV really raises CG. Hope you can improve the handling.
Jay neat pics.
Drew good luck with improving your diet.
Frits hope you got some mowing, run to pick up meds in, and barn projects progress.
RNG glad the speakers were salvageable, and are now working. Good luck with RAM van acquisition. Hope you got some mowing in.

Low temp tonight will be 36 and more rain in forecast.
The hydraulic shop was closed, but buddy was in the back getting some stuff for a brake job. Told him what I needed and he sold me two 45° fittings for $10.oo. No paperwork because the computers were shut down. ;) Told him I didn't go there to buy paperwork.
I got everything on my list, including the gate hardware for my storm/screen door project.
We had moved the dump run to today because we didn't know if the Dodge was going to be ready for Thursday. Also scored another fridge door at the dump. I now have enough tin to do everything I have planned.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 32° with mostly clouding skies this morning. Heading to 48° with mix of sun and clouds. I was beat when I hit bed last night. 9000 steps. Slept very good. Flashing light on lighthouse is more like a yellow caution light. Need to find a different light bulb. Will get pond vacuum out today and start cleaning up all the sludge that had collected under all the rock I removed from pond this spring. Then some NASCAR in afternoon.

Good morning 43 going to 58 today. nice and fresh after the rain yesterday.

Managed to get the mowing done yesterday that I had planned before the rain

Shoulder continue to show improvement in range of motion and strength. Maybe it is not a rotator cuff injury. Hopeful. The doctor said surgery and healing prospects were not good for my age for rotator cuff repairs. Talked to one of my former clients yesterday. He lives in Steamboat Springs during winter and was injured skiing. He had the surgery for rotator cuff recently and was going to PT. It is a long long healing process. So hope to avoid that. The scheduled MRI test should confirm what is going on.

The BF was discharged from hospital and is doing ok. Would have thought that they would have kept him longer for observation. Hear often about bleeding swelling after concussions. Hopefully he will be ok

Today was the planned sightseeing day in Vienna for other daughter but hard to get around with the marathon going on. She may take a day trip to Slovakia instead.

Good Morning all. 51º going to the mid 80s for the 3rd day in a row. Actually reached 91º yesterday. Ugh, too hot already.
Did some mowing for another neighbor. Covid widow. Everything was knee high with all the rain we have gotten this year. Unfortunately her place is steep so 3 hours of butt puckering work. I got out of there with my tractor in one piece minus the little roller scraper on the flail. Must have hooked a hidden stump or root. Bent it pretty good the first time but fixable. Second time mostly destroyed it. Replaced it with a larger 2x2 angle iron when I got home. Moved it up a bit where it is less likely to be damaged again. More mowing again today at the ranch.
Need to take time today to get the new lawn sprinklers and timer online. Fingers crossed that goes smoothly.
Have a great Sunday everybody.

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly)…

33.8F (just missed frost!) going to mid 60s today.

Mrs and I moved refilled woodshed from ticks along south fence, so new owners on that side will finally have a view of our lot — until we restock it with next year’s firewood 🤣😂

After church, and after it warms up a bit, we will be taking Senior dog up to the woodlot WITHOUT the puppy, because she needs a break. It will also be the first ride in her Tuk-Tuk (Mrs wanted a side-by-wide quad, I bought it for her as an early anniversary gift —- but it is really Bailey’s vehicle — when we were getting it ready for inspection, she jumped in and sat there for almost 5 hours!) since before Christmas, so she will be getting a double treat.

Then we are going to a rare Sunday show at the Performing Arts Center, dinner first, so no real projects will get done today.

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe blessed day!

The training outfit we are going with does not use a central “school building” - it has a network of trainers who work out of their homes, and the trainer we were assigned has chickens. It was one of the training topics we had discussed in Interview #1, and they did a great job of assignment to meet our needs!
