Pressure washing went fairly well. Had hoped the dirt minimized the paint adhesion, but still some didn’t come up. No biggy.
Figured out how to make adjustable legs for shelving units using sch 40 pvc. That mandated a trip to HD as I didn’t have 8 of any of the fittings nor enough pipe. That trip also cost me a very enjoyable lunch with wife at Japanese restaurant.

Got all 4 units assembled and in place, working in the rain. The adjustable legs work well. A bit of tweaking and need to secure units

Poured first cup of hot coffee. 30° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 58° with mostly sunny skies. Got house work done. Then rearranged rock that were taken out of garden pond. Will rake stones out of lawn today. Then sharpen blades on mower.
Turkey must have a nest nearby. It is at feeders everyday.

Today is 23 years I have been on TBN. I was on the original Kubota forum. When TBN was started. Many of the Kubota forum people moved over to TBN in March 2000. I was in hospital recovering from Hernia surgery that did not go as planned. So my join date was delayed almost a month.
Has been one of the best forums that I have belonged too.
Me, too, and I agree, Ron. And as you and I know, a number of members getting together meant a great time for all.

Good Morning.
37 out now climbing to 60 under fair skies.

Yesterday’s trip went well, made it home in time to be productive, but elected to be lazy instead. Walked down to Son’s with my wife and played with grandson and his birthday toys, which in reality was plenty productive.

Today I’m off to FL again, Palm Beach this time, early start should mean early finish, then I get to stay home for a while.
Looks like the grill guard for the Kubota that I ordered from Messicks is going to be delivered by FedEx today, I procrastinated making one long enough that they had them made and offered at a reasonable price. I’m almost two hours from them, so I paid FedEx to do the driving for me.
But with a grapple, it is so easy to smash up your grill and radiator, it really is a necessity.

Gotta run, have a great day guys!

good morning all
surprisingly cool out, 34, tomatoes are likely shivering
feel much better this morning, still a sore spot in gut but at least I know it's nothing serious
thanks for all the well wishes.
This bug tore me a new one....now back to being more careful washing my hands when I come home.

Jay, what a nice surprise to hear from you. Be here, be happy.

got all my parts in for rv, new kitchen faucet, water inlet and hot water heater electric element. Had to buy a special (but inexpensive) 1 1/2 inch
thin wall socket to install hot water element since regular sockets don't fit. Now will see when my favorite MacGyver can come work his magic. Pretty sure that element
needs some plumbers goop put on it, which I don't have. (?) I defer to much smarter minds.

got the lawn done yesterday and confirmed guy to come weedeat every two weeks. 40 bucks, up from 30 for last guys, who I didn't think charged enough actually.
This crew works right across the street and can walk over and do mine at same time. Lawn was pretty thick, had to remow several areas to grind up the clippings.
The weed and feed I put down in a few locations really made lawn jump after 1 1/2 inches of rain.
Always an issue when mowing, blow grass out or in. In means it all looks very nice til end, then a lot of clippings to contend with. I don't like clumps so always a little bit of a challenge, particularly with grass not fully dried out.

I hope not to offend anyone here, but I've never liked the practice of blowing grass and leaves out into the public roads. perhaps just my own quirk. Sometimes unavoidable if using a big bush hog near the road, but I always make the first two passes aiming in. Don't want a rock or something hitting a car going by anyway.

hope you all have a great day.
