Good (Easter Sunday) morning. Overnight Low was 1.2C (due to wind chill) and it's presently 11.5C, clear & sunny with strong winds... well that'll dry up things. Of course that'll keep the temperature down to the mid-teens (C), but you can't have everything, eh?

The Mad Horse Agisting Woman stopped by with a bottle of Pinot Noir and a chocolate bunny. Yay!

I'm off to Church in a half hour and then the rest of the day is His.

That's about it, have a Blessed Easter and take care all.

Edit: Just back from Church to find that the Mad Horse Woman also dropped off a bottle of Shiraz and a wee bag of chockies! I'm enjoying a couple of chocolate hot-cross buns too. Well, there goes my glucose levels for a while.

Finished mowing the lower field. New Kubota MX5200 made it an easy bit of work.
Still I see I need to add an extra foot rest for my back. Will post that when I get er dun.
Reached 200 hours and swapped out the oil filters as scheduled. That 50 hours went by fast. Good night all and cheers

Pseudo productive day.....got the blocks cleaned out and prepped. But, the wifey suddenly started feeling "sick" this morning. Very dizzy and feeling weak. Almost SxS of vertigo. So, no outside planting for her....

Yesterday's antics let me know that the knee wasn't happy to repeat the same today. Took a lot longer due to many breaks to straighten the leg and relieve the now present back pain from leaning over. But.... stubbornness prevailed. I will probably pay double for it tomorrow.

Drew, glad that you and Ken were able to scare the RV back into submission. Hopefully the problem won't resurface.

Wng, I see a spoiled little girl in your future.....

Buppies, hope the shower was good! Continue healing.

Not too muddy today but the boots sure did come in handy. Not the Fall crowds but the busiest day this spring. Most people did not ask for a refund they rescheduled their hunt for today after 2 days of rain. Happy Easter eve.

Good evening all. Happy Easter Eve and Easter to all who celebrate!! 54ºF for the start, overcast, light breeze. Light wind, overcast morning, partly cloudy afternoon, high temp was 73ºF. Bike ride to start day, 76 miles, 1 flat, (spare tube was no good) and 1 dropped chain. One on the group had extra tube, so we got flat fixed in under 1/2 hour. Nap after lunch and dinner at Mexican restaurant.
Billy yes was good to get boat on water. yes checked, he was using plastic worm. Congrats in first grandchild. Hope you had good luck with the gobbles.
Ron glad you found a trailer, and mule to the rescue. nice squirrel pic
Bill hope you enjoyed your seat time.
Phil hope you are having fun playing in the woos shop. Sorry to hear your wife's voice has become stuck. Sorry about Medicare woes, hope it can be cleared up. Hope coffee was good neat wood project pics.

Mate, after all these years you have to know that we Aussies shorten words then (usually) add 'ie', 'y' or an 'o' on the end.

In this case it's for chocolate.

And, of course, just to confuse the matter, a "Chocko" is (particularly a WWII reference) an Army Reservist = a 'chocolate soldier' which was a confection/sweet at the time.

Coffee is brewing. 27° with with clear skies this morning. Heading to 61° with lots of sun. Made and installed couple of tiedowns on new trailer. Also installed a front caster wheel. Cleaned up some more limbs from yard.
Going to spend today with Son and family.

Was able to get 2 loads of branches picked up before hands gave out.
Easter dinner with the family is here today.
Just a quick post to show we had a visitor on the front porch trying to stay out of the wind. Iphone grabbed a pretty good shot.

30 outside right now. Heading to 60 today. I think this freeze has done in the last of the late blooming daffodils. Too bad. The dogwoods and redbuds may have suffered some damage too this AM. The lawn has a nice crunch to it walking the dog this AM. Hope this was the last of the freeze cycle for this year.

Road trip went well. In laws are OK. Met new great nephew for the first time. Will stay focused on the positive side of visits, LOL.

Drew what was the issue with the RV breaker?

a mystery, a Maytag repairman moment. Apparently after two days whatever had gotten wet had dried out. I think....

30 degrees out and hard frost, thankfully I took the time to put insulating plastic down on half of veggies. May leave them there for one more night.

new front carpet mats came in for rv, will put them in today when it warms up a bit. Bright sun out now, should be a nice Easter Sunday.
