Poured first cup of coffee. 27° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 43° with plenty of sun. Got the TV box cut up. Had some wood that needed to be burned. So burned up the wood and carboard in my small fire pit. All the Styrofoam fit in 2 large garbage bags. Put all the PVC pipe I use to support net on garden pond away on rack in barn loft. Installed hand operated windshield wiper on Mule. Should be able to try it out tomorrow. Need to go into town today to pay taxes, visit financial guy and get tooth filling at dentist.
Tail Up. Tail Down.

LS, lots of chicken soup is what my wife gave when I was sick. Put extra black pepper in it. Get better soon.

Everyone stay safe and well.

Good Morning All.

Good morning, low temp 29 and going to a high of 30°F. Wind NW 8 mph. Partly sunny.

Hopefully the parts come in today and I will run down to Orillia to get them. It is only a 2 hour run one way. Ya, I know, courier would be cheaper, but I am faster.

Other than waiting for the parts, I have nothing I want to do today.

Have a safe day all

Morning all!
Currently 33 going to around 42 later in the day. Had rain/ice last night so driveway and roads are covered in ice.

Enjoying my 2nd cup of coffee while watching the flames in the pellet stove.
Plans for the day. Puttering in the woodshop and maybe head out to the other garage to check the mouse traps and hug the tractor.
Wife wants to go out for breakfast later and then drop in for a visit to one of my sisters. Sounds good to me as long as the roads are drivable.
Wife's voice is getting stronger every day and we are both well.

Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

47 going to 67. Weather folks still teasing about maybe-snow later this week.

Good news about your wife, mpham.

Did a three-fer on the dump run yesterday...also threw in a fill-up and mailed some large letter envelopes that needed to be weighed at the post office. Gas prices had come back down the 20 cents they jumped last week, but stlll high. The post office lady is always so nice and friendly...also puts out cookies and candy for her customers. Passed lots of folks waving "Hi" ...I always wave to passing vehicles around here, but these folks even beat me to it.

Came home and split my firewood...love the smell of black cherry.

I'm getting low on coffee, so will need to spend part of this nice day inside roasting, but will get out for much of the day...may try out the leg on a short hike.

Don that Ego looks nice for your garden.

LS, hope you're feeling better.

Good evening all. 51ºF for the start, some fog/drizzle, breezy. Windy early, rain off and on during afternoon and evening, and high temp was 61ºF at 2AM, low forecast to be 44ºF. Rain was forecast to start before sunrise, did not start till about 2 PM. Cleaned ashes the built fire in insert to start day, Started to go riding and drizzle stopped me. They pay us throughout training, so it isn’t too bad. It is just the aggravation. I was a Firearms and Us of Force Instructor during my LEO days, and have a bit of “perspective” on effective be ineffective training… and when your answers are changed by the computer program and you are getting marked wrong - and the PTB are aware of the issue but aren’t addressing it, it gets annoying. Maybe it is because the training I handled had a bit more in the wasnpf potential consequences, but I have had no problem being vocal in my assessments (which I know Is quite displeasing to the PTB).

Good Morning!

God has given us another chance to get it right (or at least not screw up too badly).

38F right now, going to be in the low 60’s but cloudy all day. Tomorrow is forecast for rain, just in time to make everything muddy for the weekend. So I will work on our voluntary gift to Uncle Sam starting tomorrow.

finally Cut the two pieces of black pipe nipple for bushings on the lower tractor arms, now I just have to get them installed. Hopefully that will improve the geometry and stability of the implements. Also got two more boxes of Christmas decorations back into the shed loft. Only two more to go!

The last of our new hens finally produced - yesterday was our first 1-egg-per-bird Day since we got the new hens in November. There is an embarrassment of riches on our table - I need to get to cookin’!

I hope everyone has a happy healthy safe productive blessed HUMP DAY!

Good morning, about 50 degrees and pouring rain here. It already is a sloppy mess after the rain / ice storms last week. But I am not allowed to complain about rainfall here. :)

Some locals without power for 3-5 days! That I am aware, it was not generation capacity, it was tree limbs and or the ice on power lines.

Best wishes to all for a Wednesday.

41 outside this AM, heading to mid 60's. Nice. Dry today, so I will go for a nice walk to clear the mind.

Should get a few more sections of vinyl hung today on the Milk House. A slow go for sure.

Mostly, sadly my phone calls can only restart the insurance process, with more paperwork for the insurance company coming there way. I just find it odd that some MAJOR surgeries are considered not necessary by some of their standards. Especially so when one is seeing SPECIALISTS for SIX months and running TESTS for that period of time. One would THINK the pattern and timing of said SPECIALISTS and TESTS over SIX months would clue the insurance into the thoughts that there is a PROBLEM that needs ADDRESSING.

Anyhow....RANT over. Now that I have spoiled everyone's day, I am sure you all have been where I am at before. My problem is this pattern has repeated itself for the third time, and the last two times lawyers were involved.

I should wash the wife's truck today. Maybe I'll go do that. Wipe on...wipe off..wipe on..wipe off...

Hope all have a great day. Be safe, was going to say stay warm, but I think that is happening for most. So, those ailing...hang in there. Get better.
