Good morning, the low temp is 10 and the high to 18°F. Wind SSW 5 mph. 40% chance of flurries. It was snowing pretty good when I checked a hour ago.

Block heater for the tractor plugged in, I'll go out and plow about noonish.
Right now I am going back to bed for a power nap. Been up since 2.

My new Dewalt cordless grease gun came yesterday, I am waiting for the battery to charge up. I have a half a case of winter grease that'll come into the house and warm up.

Have a safe day all

good morning all
another day in warm paradise, should be 84 here today
yikes you folks in Texas are sure cold
be careful in ice and snow, remember we don't bounce well.

Mark, hope your wife is doing better. Lots of best wishes sent her way. And you too, you have your hands full.

off food shopping this morning, will get some diesel for friend's truck, and then some serious pool time this afternoon. The community has two pools, this is the small one but close to friend's house and nice view of boats.

Anyone have to ever fill one of these out? 24 pages, what a bear. So many questions Do Not pertain to agriculture, either, but are what I'd politely call NOSY.

Yes we had do one here. Way more financial questions than I anticipated. More about the business than the practice of agriculture.

I got ANOTHER USDA survey reminder to complete the other day. I completed the survey in December, this is the second reminder to complete the survey. Sigh....

On Leathermans, I don't use mine at all, it holds a special significance in my life as a buddy no longer with us and I got them at the same time. When I see it, I think of him.

A great tool never used, a life lived full.

early start this a.m. We got a message that our new parrot was old enough to pick up. (8 weeks) We bought a male about 10 days ago from the same lady.
Trip was 150 klm each way. This is Lesleys 'thing' so it keeps her occupied and she leaves me alone.
Here is a little vid of the Eclectus Parrots. Girl is red and blue. Boy is the green one.

Good morning.
26 with a high in the middle 30’s today. Clear skies, but woke up to a white dusting.

Yesterday kept me occupied, took all the old Verizon equipment to UPS, officially putting that chapter behind me. Stopped at Staples and got some filing supplies, got all the instructions and manuals filed neatly with Ptouch labels on the folders.

Picked up my $27 Subsoiler, much better than I expected.

Hoist scale says it weighs its not a lightweight, but I knew that, I paid for it by the pound.

Changed out the last fast Ethernet switch for a gigabit one, I think that is the last piece of that puzzle as well.

Today I’m off to our daughter’s to install a Wi-Fi thermostat with a remote sensor to average between the two floors and install a garage door opener. Zoe is coming with me to help.

Good morning, 27 going to 38, and got our first snow that stuck, a whole 1/64"
Just enough to make the roads a bit slick, but the dog was so happy, she was rolling around in the driveway on it.

Mark-my wife went through the same thing, twice. She recovered and is doing well, but allergies got worse. Just monitor for hernia as that was why wife had to get cut second time. Takes a while, but it's amazing what can be done through a few small incisions.

Back to day job, such fun.

. Stayed in and roasted coffee and worked on MIL's USDA Census of Agriculture..."Mandatory due by February 6, 2023." Anyone have to ever fill one of these out? 24 pages, what a bear. So many questions Do Not pertain to agriculture, either, but are what I'd politely call NOSY.
Yes, I filled out Mom's. Since she leases her land out I had to answer questions on only 2 pages. There is a thread about it on TBN here:

Good morning

Colder at 27 going to35 today. Light dusting of snow

Wife slipped and fell down inside the house last night. Had to call emergency and got them to come out and help her up and checked out. She is ok and still sleeping after the ordeal.

Went to get the IMAC checked out for not starting. What do you know it started fine. Just don't trust it so we will see. Everything on it is duplicated on the new laptop.

Not sure what I will get into today

Good morning! It's a winter wonderland outside. The ice grew by 400% overnight. The street light in the front has the longest icicles.
rained 1/2 inch last night. 29˚F and very dangerously slippery outside.

28° going to 39° Sunny. Nothing on ground here.
Not sure what I’ll do today, taking a break from church work, as I’m waiting for more deliveries.

Maybe put new gaskets in the water softener, never got that done, salt tank still full of water.

Won’t be painting. Might install TurboTax and start filling in info. Haven’t gotten all info yet.

Good morning all,
It was 37F and raining when I got up, presently it is 35 and overcast. Forecast is for a high of 37 today with clearing skies.

Liz made it home yesterday, it was so foggy that her normal 3 hr trip took 4 hrs. I had everything cleaned up before she arrived except the bed sheets were still in the dryer.

No panels for barn were dropped off yesterday and contractor is not responding to my text messages so I am not sure what it going on.

Last of the shop/barn internet pieces arrived yesterday. I haven't opened the boxes yet so I guess that will be today's job and get them set up.

Liz has ordered herself a Kubota RTV 900, it is due in 2 weeks and she has made it clear that a garage bay needs to be cleaned out so it can be stored inside. I have 2 bays that are filled with 'stuff' and I guess I need to get one of them cleaned out. Going to be easier said than done.

Have a good day all, Let's be careful out there.

Curious 'happening': using a "Total Tools" birthday gift card I bought a LEATHERMAN Wave multitool (A$189.00)... all of a sudden I'm receiving FB adverts from an Aussie leathercraft company that makes leather belt pouches for, said multitool. Hmmmm... and, no, I don't have an 'Alexi' or 'Siri' thingy.
A lot of stores sell the information on what you are buying to help hold the cost of products down. This is exactly why they sell the info and why companies buy that info.
