For more than half my military career I had a mustache although often frowned upon. When I was a company commander vocally hated them, but in our battalion, 4 of the 5 had one with the consensus the 5th would have if she could have grown one. Many times, if taking leave longer than 2 weeks I’d not shave, getting a good start on a beard. Now, most days I just mow it off with electric shaver vs the old razor days.

We have handicap bars in all our bathrooms/showers except the caretaker studio. Sometimes wish I had built in a seat in the master shower.

Paul, what type of dog is that? I know you posted the breed name before but couldn't find it.....
She's a cutie for sure!

We've thought about getting a companion for Max, but he must have been talking to Whipper.... he also likes getting all the attention.....

A cutie for sure, but I don’t recall either.

Growing up etc we never had more than a single dog, then back in the 90’s when we got our 2nd Boxer, Ruby, it was only a couple weeks before we found ourselves rescuing Jack. We soon realized the different dynamics and have had multiple boxers ever since (6 for about 3 years). Until Kalani passed a couple years ago, leaving Kekoa as the sole dog, he was miserable, hence finding and getting Makani. Guess we are a 2 boxer family.

I shave one time a year. Whether I need it or not. St Patrick's day.
dye that beard green, & a photo before the annual shave ... will make people wonder :)

Fisherman's Friend are a pretty good cough drop, and less sugar than most, i think

If I don’t shave every day, I need a weed eater.
try NAIR from the women's aisle :) (no don't, ... I'm kidding)

Like scootr, I usually have a goat - hides the growth between shaves :). Every now and then I grow a fu-man, makes me look tough. clean shaven works too

we have a Walk-In Tub, it's great, but takes far longer than a shower. the jets are nice, safer. expensive. but I can stand an shower in it when there are time commitments

gotta go out for a bit, later folks

Made up one these to get full flow air into storage tanks or fill large tires and not get damage from liquid fill in tires. It has the large flow Milton connector and I connect it to the 150 psi outlet on the compressor. Also it grips on so no more holding.

Do you have a fence on the property line, Frits? If so, could you stretch plastic over it, so that bullet holes would show from anything crossing the line? Are there laws against baiting game? Maybe time for another call to the Sheriff for advise as to how to press charges. Perhaps that will get the message across.

RNG no there is no fence. The creek running all the time is the property line. Hunting comes under the Natural Resource Police of Maryland and target shooting comes under the sheriff. The hunting rules allow feeders for deers on the property line even though it is obvious a miss means it goes into my property. Not like it is in Texas and many other states with felonies for shooting across property lines. The other option was to check distance from dwelling being less than 150 yard and it comes in very close to that plus minus a few feet hard to measure because going over the pond. So looks like nothing I can do except set up noise maker as suggested by some but I don't think I want to take it that far. He maybe a trigger happy gun nut. I think the limit is 10 deer so will see what he gets.
He did move the target off the property line that he was using with AR 15 high capacity clips after the Sheriff visited him. He used that yesterday with higher caliber shots for I guess to be his deer rifle. So that message got across

Landseer ECT (European Continental Type), which is different than a Landseer Newfoundland.
The ECT isn’t recognized in the US or Canada, but is every where else in the world.

Or google Landseer ECT if you are real curious.
the breed has several known genetically transmitted inherited diseases, making it imperative that breeding dogs are tested to identify carrier status for which testing is available.

Popgadget, did you get it tested?

"2 years in from having @0v!d, I still have very little sense of smell."

My daughter did some kind of smell therapy to help her smell return but there is so much stuff about this disease that has turned out to be snake oil. Who knows.

I had a nice mustache a few years ago but none of the women in my life liked it so I am clean shaven now.

"my lady friend with her four daughters all together on Thanksgiving. Too much estrogen!"

I have always liked the company of women.

54˚F Today turn out to be a pretty day on the "Farm" if you overlook the wind and the mud. With the sun shining people were really starting to come out in the afternoon. The first breakfast with Santa was a success with 30 people showing up in the cold and just finished rain. We have had 2.4" of rain the last 3 days.
The town lake has filled up a foot this month, now we are only 16' below full.
