Dogs gone...
Gout pretty much gone.
Mosquitos now driving us nuts. Can't do any mowing as they have forward lines that attack you as soon as you go near the paddocks. Never ever seen them like this before. And they chase us on the scooters now matter how fast you go. About 50 followed me home. Luckily I had a spray can handy or I might not be here the evil little sods.

Coffee just finished brewing. 32° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 62° with overcast skies in afternoon. Got painting done. Then got started on cutting back last of the garden plants and hauling to compost pile. Gave tractor a bath and loaded it on trailer. Taking it up to friends to rototill a garden for him today. Rest of day will be rest and watch some NASCAR.
Fall colors are still bright.

29° right now...high in the mid-60's...pretty much a repeat of yesterday.

Wife and stepdaughter did their shopping and will be home all day (I think), so maybe I can complete my chores list...
I bought a DeWalt battery grease gun a while back...but I kept using the old fashioned hand pump gun. Time to
try out the DeWalt, even if it is overkill

good morning all
32 out now going up to 60, nice day

Roy, you will love the Dewalt grease gun

no plans for today, first have to wake up

RS, those gutter covers hopefully will save you a lot of time once installed. Always a crummy gooky job to clean out wet gutters.
Not for you any more.

Ron, have fun rototilling today, good seat time.

M7040, what is the name for the style of mortar that your old buildings have, the really wide stuff?
My brother has some of that on his VA farm buildings. Was that just used for log buildings?

Morning all! 32 here going to 60ish.
Managed to put in another round of leaf duty even though I was going to wait. Neighbor did their yard so I figured I didn't want mine blowing over there.
Like Thomas I put all my winter markers in place that weren't installed the other day.
Started prep work on reinstalling the lattice work under our deck. Darn animals keep getting in there somehow and breaking it to get out. I will make it less penetrable and mount the panels so they pop out instead of breaking.
Worked on fixing up an old Sears drill press my dad bought in the 60's.
Found some vintage used parts on the web! Still waiting on one. Got it all clean up and working great!
Fixed a speaker cabinet for my cousin that needed a few mods while were down in the woodshop.
Bathroom job got pushed off till next weekend. Good thing as I was beat!
Nothing planned for today. Might go for a walk then chill.
Hope everyone stays safe and healthy!

32 going to 63, and pleasant.

Buppies, I guess I need to come to your place to see bears...I haven't seen any on the trail this year. Nice trip for you and your wife, both sides of the Blue Ridge. I was near Waynesboro yesterday, too, up on the mountain.

Ken, hope you protect your trees in time, a buck already rubbed my 2nd best Christmas tree.

LS, sorry you lost your motivation...no need to look here, none around.

Kyle, Verlander has a WS jinx. At least the Astros got the job done last night. Sorry about your drought. Your son has the touch on catching bass.

RS, your gutter job looks real professional.

Had my regular dermatologist appointment Friday...everything good. She set next appointment for 1 year, rather than 6 months....did same for my wife...said nothing expected to change in that time...but I wonder if they are just too busy to continue semi-annuals.

Then did some caulking and need to paint now.
