Good evening all. 53ºF for the start, showers in area, overcast, light breeze, 1.9 inches in rain gauge. Light to moderate wind, overcast all day, and high temp was 62ºF. Bike rid to start morning, light sprinkle from time to time, 55 miles. Lunch, nap, then help fish club with fall festival., then dinner

Drew hope you enjoyed your sunshine. Yes lot of rain, but a lot of it soaked in. Creeks just started running, would normally start in September. Tire do have nice tread, not sure if there is an "all season: tire". I am most season, will ride trainer in garage in freezing weather

Gout pretty much gone.
Mosquitos now driving us nuts. Can't do any mowing as they have forward lines that attack you as soon as you go near the paddocks. Never ever seen them like this before. And they chase us on the scooters now matter how fast you go. About 50 followed me home. Luckily I had a spray can handy or I might not be here the evil little sods.

Coffee just finished brewing. 32° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 62° with overcast skies in afternoon. Got painting done. Then got started on cutting back last of the garden plants and hauling to compost pile. Gave tractor a bath and loaded it on trailer. Taking it up to friends to rototill a garden for him today. Rest of day will be rest and watch some NASCAR.
Fall colors are still bright.

Wife and stepdaughter did their shopping and will be home all day (I think), so maybe I can complete my chores list...
I bought a DeWalt battery grease gun a while back...but I kept using the old fashioned hand pump gun. Time to
try out the DeWalt, even if it is overkill

rode to Waynesboro yesterday nice trip up the valley wife really enjoyed the leaves. Shot gun gone lever action 357 Winchester 24 in barrel nice but barrel heavy price $2125 more than I want to pay for shooter. gun sales way up for them mostly cash. Came back down thru Charlottesville down 29 to Lynchburg thru Bedford. Beautiful ride

Morning all! 32 here going to 60ish.
Managed to put in another round of leaf duty even though I was going to wait. Neighbor did their yard so I figured I didn't want mine blowing over there.
Like Thomas I put all my winter markers in place that weren't installed the other day.
Started prep work on reinstalling the lattice work under our deck. Darn animals keep getting in there somehow and breaking it to get out. I will make it less penetrable and mount the panels so they pop out instead of breaking.
Worked on fixing up an old Sears drill press my dad bought in the 60's.
Found some vintage used parts on the web! Still waiting on one. Got it all clean up and working great!
Fixed a speaker cabinet for my cousin that needed a few mods while were down in the woodshop.
Bathroom job got pushed off till next weekend. Good thing as I was beat!
Nothing planned for today. Might go for a walk then chill.

Had my regular dermatologist appointment Friday...everything good. She set next appointment for 1 year, rather than 6 months....did same for my wife...said nothing expected to change in that time...but I wonder if they are just too busy to continue semi-annuals.

Then did some caulking and need to paint now.
