We had a high earlier of 95 but a sea breeze has moved in and dropped us to 88. We are about 28 miles from the ocean and rarely get sea breeze this far inland in June -September.
Looking for big storms tomorrow.
I’m going to try and mow early tomorrow, then do everything else Friday when it’s cooler.
Mexican “stir fry” was a big hit.

Just had a Special Weather Statement issued a bit ago which has now expired. Severe thunderstorm was headed this way apparently, northern portion which would have hit us petered out ... we did get a little rain however, which dropped the temp to 76F but basically turned it into a steam bath out there.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued until 22:00 tonight.

Tools taken up to the shop and AC turned on.

The two chipmunks tossed on the burn pile for whoever wants them.

Dump cart dropped off over by the NE planting bed where The Woman wanted it.

The two chipmunk traps have been baited and deployed.

Found another piece of 4 x 4 over by the barn and brought it back over to the house and pulled out the chop saw and got cut to length, also chop saw put back away before the rain started.

Small tender seedlings (tomatoes, eggplants) watered, probably do some repotting on some of those later. Pepper plants certainly a lot more hardy tolerate the heat better than tomatoes and eggplants.

Woman helped me to relocate the aquarium planter stand so I can get to the part of the wall where I need to install an electrical box for the track lightning.

Gonna hop into the shower real quick before the next round of storms roll in.

cleaned off trailer, put rubber protectant on tires and wheels, plus the plastic lenses. Put some spray ceramic wax on fenders.
That has left me a sweaty mess; happy to sit in a/c for awhile.
Awaiting landscapers, told them tomorrow was inspection day, unofficially, by landlord and her son and could they do the mulching of my flower beds?
They said they would come later this afternoon. That may be dinner time; nice of them to squeeze me in.
Roy, with the spare radial tire and rim, it was about 2600 plus tax. All aluminum one 3700. Last year was around 2000. What inflation?

6x10, next size up, was about 400 more.
It is a Reiser trailer made in New Waterford Ohio.

Never got above the mid to upper 50's today...rainy, but not constant...it could stay this way all summer, as far as I'm concerned

well David here's another pic
successful morning, decided to get smaller black trailer, 15" radials on 5x8, spare tire, LED lights, even pinstriping.
2300 capacity more than I need.
I like the way gate folds forward, though if anything in there has to be straight up.
sure bangs like crazy pulled empty.

Nice Drew. My next major purchase may be a trailer. Need to sell my milsurplus Humvee trailer, a bit big for my Ridgeline. Just hard to find what I want at reasonable price locally.

57F cloudy had nice steady around noonish more rain arriving early evening...it's needed.

Saw little Boo checking out Mrs. newly planted flowers went on the deck yell that's good way to get @ss whopping if Mrs. catches you,little Boo started to make quick tracks than it seem like 4 barrel kick in...head down gone,guess we need to spray flower with stink juice for while.

Little grumpy this afternoon...getting things together for dump run couple critter food stops Mrs. said she would drive me,I look for main set pickup keys no luck nor second set even check for back up set in shed nope hmmm text Mrs. ask if she seen keys,she had all 3 sets with her so I wouldn't drive yup that got my feathers ruffle some
all 3 sets are in proper place now and no dump run or critter food stops until feathers settle in place.

Plans for the evening...no idea.
