Good morning, low temp 44 and going to a high of 68°F. Wind ESE 9 mph. Sunny!

Take care of yourself Roy.

The busted spring is officially off the trailer and in the back of the Dodge waiting for a trip to North Bay this Thursday.
The drawbars I will try to get someone 'local' to punch out the 7/16" holes, all 8 of them along with two 3/4" holes.
I will go to Fastenal to get new bolts, nuts and lockwashers.

I saw a good sized rabbit on the driveway yesterday and just now I saw another one in the back yard. I hope the one I saw this mornig is part of a mated pair. I wouldn't mind if the place was swarming with rabbits. Maybe some rabbit stew this fall.

I've got a dump run to do today and that is about 'it'. I might get started on the floor for the tractor shed, but don't hold yer breath.

Have a safe day all

Good morning! 74˚F heading to 99˚F-103˚F depending on which weather formatter you listen to. Yesterdays high was 97˚F. A few morning clouds and 89% humidity.

Roy you do not need surprises like that, hope your recovery is quick and full.
The Buppies get well soon.

Yesterday trail mulch spreading was very hot and 2 hours was the self imposed limit before taking the rest of the day off for rehydration. It worked no cramps last night.

Today of course is Mom's day and she has a few home maintenance projects for me. Her lunch will be BBQ jackfruit sandwiches.

Moms are special. 🤱

Roy, glad you are posting and feeling better.

Buppies, hope you guys have recovered.

Thomas, gobblers have gone silent here, but did here a bobwhite this morning.

RS, nice Baltimore Oriole...we never get those...occasionally Orchard Orioles and we put oranges out for them, too.

43 and drizzle going to only 50...may be close to a record cold...blackberry winter...yes, they are blooming now. Hard to believe with all of the showers and drizzle yesterday it only amounted to a tenth of an inch.

MIL staying here so will offer to make her waffles when she wakes up. Coffee was extra good this morning. May have to have a 2nd cup.

Prayers for Bupps and wifey, Roy, flooding areas.

Took middle daughter to Victoria Tx. to visit my mom yesterday. Fixed her leaky sink faucet. Went to eat some delicious Mexican Food, then visit my brother's grave. He died at age 39, would have been 70 this Tuesday if he had survived.

About to go to church. Teach older kids Sunday School. Will study John.

I wish I had time to spray for weeds, it is calm this morning. Like Don said, hot yesterday and today. No rain in forecast for next week.

Hope to take my wifey to eat Mexican today for Mother's day.

Hope all the Mothers in your lives have a great, pampered day.

Prayers.

Diesel is $5.99 here now. I’m airing up the bike tires this morning.

48 now but shooting up ti 49 later, winds over 40mph for the next three or four days. Rainy and dreary. 1.7” of rain and drizzle so far.

Tell all the women in your life, Happy Mothers Day. Moms, daughters and wives are the most important people in our lives.

Morning, grey and a bit more rain
Yesterday was busy mud crawling at the Washington's crossing brewfest. Rain and wind and an open field on the Delaware river made for deep thick mud even though they laid straw and wood chips everywhere. With my hurt leg it was quit the adventure.
Kentucky Derby party was fun and today off to a play in NYC.

Buppies - feel better and get some rest

Saw a hummingbird at the window yesterday, looked angry I have not put the feeder out. That's downstairs, maybe get the wifee to bring it up.

RNG - Whenever I am down at Monterrey I try to get over to Carmel. Cousin lived in the desert side of Monterrey for a few years.

BEF - looks like new caves to explore under the road?

Roy - good to see you back and recovering -

Happy Mothers Day all, my mom died at 63

Stay safe and be well,

Mud mud and more mud, but fun. Leg was puffed up last night but seems to be a bit better today. Hope all the escalators work today, but NJT does not have a good reputation for anything working, or train timeliness.

Good morning to all! Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!

The low was 48°, already up to 65° at 07:30, on the way to 85°. The winds got stronger overnight, some strong gusts woke us up at 05:30.... rolled over and got another hour of napping.

The red flag warnings, fire weather warnings, and high wind warnings already posted through tomorrow night. We just can't seem to get out of this weather pattern. We need rain desperately.

The agenda for today is blank..... except for getting Chinese food for dinner (wifey's request), 'tis the least that I can do for her. Son and grandsons will be over later, daughter is stuck working at the clinic, so her "mom's day" won't be until tonight.

The birdies are really liking that the pond / waterfall is up and running. A few had visited shortly after it was filled yesterday. By the late afternoon, they must have spread the word..... lots were visiting both the pond and the feeders. The 2 hummers were still battling over feeder territory.

I hope everyone has a quiet, peaceful day!

57F with lots of very bright sunshine @ 10:45, calling for a high of 67F.

Hopper feeder is low, will need refilled at some point today. Also check mealworm feeder out front and refill if necessary.

Small veggie plants will need watered with the little hand sprayer, also ones in the garage set out in a shady area to harden further.

Probably go ahead and bake some more soil in preparation for more seed planting.

Looks like winds will be fairly low today, so I'll fill that handheld sprayer and get some of glyphosate spraying done in a few areas - mostly around planting beds and trees. Probably should lube the seal in the sprayer pump before I start though.

Need to blow the leaves off the west and northwest planting beds and haul those up to the compost pile.

After that, use the Cub and dump cart to haul some of the mulch around and get it spread. I think there 14 bags still left on the pallet in the van, need to get that out of there so I can go pick up the rest of it.

Maybe dig up some day lilies, split them, and get them planted around that one redbud tree on the west side.

So many things to do, so few of me to do them ...

Hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day ... especially the Mothers.
