Well, a productive day.... picked up the order from Camping World, picked up a list of yarn / supplies for the wifey, new bone for Max from the pet store, then to Costco for a few items... got off easy at only $150. I think that was the least amount EVER! But, I did get a pizza and gas that wasn't included in that price.

Picked up a rotisserie chicken for tomorrow's dinner. Pizza is for tonight.

The gas price was surprisingly much less than the local stations. They were at $3.52, Costco was at $3.11.... that's a pretty big difference. I'm going to take the truck to the Dr's appointment tomorrow and fill that too.... I hope it doesn't go too much higher overnight.....

Also picked up a 2.5 gal box of synthetic motor oil at $33. Not bad... that's only $3.30 qt. That will be enough for the car and truck oil changes. Not bad. Now I just have to get filters.

The State of the Nation report is on here at 7pm.... probably watch that while enjoying a bowl of IC.

Good evening all. 34ºF for the start, clear sky, light breeze. Light wind day, some high cirrus clouds, and high temp was 72ºF, DP 19ºF. Today was voting day and I had not finished research in a timely manor so good chunk of day was devoted to finish research and voting. Then rewarded my self with a nap then grilled brats for dinner. I will go back to Kingsford original briquets, as what I have now burns too hot. :) And figure out how to get the mesquite to not burn too fast to get more smoke :)
David thanks for the info, I guess I missed that somewhere along the line.
Dennis talking with sis tonight, she said STL post office has no idea where to deliver mail.
Roy have fun with the survey, is this before a plant inspection?
Bill good luck making it to 50 years. Place I worked at had a 48 yr continuous employment.
Buppies sorry you have to come back to reality.
Drew sorry about the one guy, and did they ever get you an assistant?
Billy wonder who "won" the discussion on spring start? Getting any closer to storm damage cleanup completion? Shoe pic not good :
Buppies there does not seem to a consensus in my 10 day regarding temps for the march 7 event.
Paul ticket is both, my recent trip to STL people were pushing lights hard and with the poor visibility around the buildings you never knew if it was safe to start on your green. safe flight tomorrow.
Ken hope follow up soon. neat pics sound like quite the adventure.
Don did you send word to chef, if the don't eat plant based, they are less likely to know.
Ken you have to laugh at that kind of stuff.
Ted hope Dr visits go well.
PJ glad wife did not need surgery. sorry about the closed restaurant.
RNG your insurance is going from bad to worse. glad you got some seat time. Sorry about the house work.
Randy interesting truth ;)

Dr cleared me for my cataract surgery.

Wngsprd that was a fortunate miss 🤙

Didn’t get second sheet of roofing up as I had to leave for Dr. Would have made it but lost an hour due to my air compressors. Husky decided to eat the belt. Didn’t think a problem as I have a spare. Wrong. Not only did belt break but seems to have partially melted into the pulley. Any suggestions as to how to clean up melted belt? Gave up after about 20 minutes, opting to be more productive. About 5 minutes into using the Craftsman pancake compressor it was running but no air ☹️ Drug my Bostitch compressor out from workshop and managed to get productive again. So now 2 compressors that need attention.

Ted, yes, inside construction is done and another day or 2 and outside will be done. Planning for next week to be major cleaning, some leftover painting and on to furnish and outfit. Of course once the bed is set I’ll probably decide I should have added more shelves.

Here they have speed control cameras, they claim you are allowed 12mph above the posted limit. I got a bill, they don’t call them tickets because they have no affect on your license, for going 42 in a 30. Apparently you’re allowed 11.9 over the posted limit. I have no doubt these are revenue machines.

Lucky you. I was 8klm (5 mph) over the other day. I copped $183 and lost 1 point.

good morning all
Happy Birthday Mrs Alien. Pic of the pup?
183 bucks is nuts for 5 over. Maybe in a school zone but anywhere else?

what a day I have ahead.
Dr appt this morning, quick trip to cardiologist office to check on the explant of monitor.
It's fine, tiny little scar. The one for my port is twice as big and they don't want me back.
Interesting how one part of a hospital can have different protocols from another.

Then home to zoom call with church member at 1pm, school board zoom at 6pm and church zoom at 7pm.
this is the big night, see if an asst pops up for me. If not, big changes ahead.
Will be my first time sharing documents on zoom, hope I don't screw it up. We are still learning all the functions of zoom, some
of which we have no use for. I'm happy when they all remember to mute their microphones when not speaking. Sounds from the household at times
have embarrassed a few folks.

A member brought in an older 55 flat screen for us to use inside instead of our small streaming monitor which makes all those little faces too hard to see.
But gosh is this big thing ugly. I wish we could afford one of those tvs that rises up on hydraulics, like the yachts and rvs', so you don't have to see it unless it
is in use. Or a drop down screen and a projector. We are pretty low budget so getting by on donated equipment.

prayers for the human race. Someday we may learn to live in peace. Someday.
