Good Morning.
It’s 47 for today, gets cold and supposed to snow overnight.
Yesterday we took Emily to the vet, bloodwork was all normal, so they suspect the cause of the seizure is neurological. Said they could do an MRI and possible surgery. Considering she is 9-1/2 years old, which is up there for a large breed, we are not going to pursue anything that aggressive. Just give her anti seizure medication and let her continue to be a happy dog.
Her demeanor is amazing. While sitting in the waiting room, every person, vet, tech, or other people had to stop and pet her. No other dog in the room got that treatment.
I did get the ductwork finished in the basement when we got home, but not much else for the day.
Today I’m going to help with a mini-split install with my mechanical contractor buddy. When I get home I’ve got a welding project for another friend, making some lumber racks for his shop.
I counted 3 F’s
Our vets office is still only allowing drop off service. You pull up, call or text a number and let them know which parking spot your in.
They will send someone out to collect the pooch.
Our Gypsy girl used to be the queen bee whenever we entered the lobby of the vets office. She would have to greet everyone behind the counter.
Help herself to a cookie on the counter. Try to give me a cookie as well

And then we were able to go find a seat. If there were any children in the waiting room, she would end up getting loved on by the kids while she cleaned and groomed them

She would also have to try and cheer up anyone upset. She paid special attention to one old man that had just received some bad news about his pooch. She inched next to him to where he could start petting her.
Then layed her head in his lap getting some ear scratches.
Since the drop off service has been instituted, I tell whomever is collecting her to call me before they head out of the office. I'll meet them at the door to collect her.
After her check up is over, the only thing she wants to do is head for the truck. On a particularly windy day, they were fixing to bring her back out to me. While the gal was waiting for the paperwork, the wind blew the door open.
Out went Gypsy dragging the poor girl behind her

With an 80lb dog and 4 paw drive, the 100lb girl never stood a chance of holding her back when she's determined.

I started yelling to her to let go of the leash which she finally did. I quickly opened the back door to the truck and she flew across the parking lot and into the truck.
Thats when I instituted the call me before bringing her out, and I'll meet you at the door policy.
