Good morning, low temp was -6°F and the high will be 1. Wind N 15 gusting to 28 mph. 60% chance of periods of light snow. Snowing cats and dogs right now. (You can say raining cats and dogs so why not snowing).

The other morning when we got nothing in the way of snow there was a winter weather alert, today when it is snowing hard there are no alerts. Go figure.
I will be plowing this morning, starting about 9, that should be about the end of this dusting.

Have a safe day all

49 going to 66 before February returns tonight with snow.

Rip, I need your trapping expertise...we have 4 skunks here that would look so nice in your trap. 2 of them went at it again yesterday early morning.

Bird, that's a lot of blood...helped many people.

Thomas, I went out for the first time in a week yesterday and was shocked that gas had gone up nearly 30 cents.

Pop, hope your dog is doing better...I looked up that breed the other day and learned a lot...was not familiar but now impressed.

We went hiking at Caledon State Park yesterday where they have about 60 Bald Eagles in the summer...and the biggest trees around. Hiked to the cliffs so we could look over at Maryland across the river. Also hiked to the rookery and found this beaver lodge.

42 this morning high in 60s snow going north of here again

last year the Fed inspector at a job we did in Buggs Island had a dog breed I’d never heard of before Louisiana Water dog. Very friendly and loved the water. Stayed in his Jeep most of the time and if the dog got hot would blow the horn with his paw. A truck comes into lot with a dog barking and I knew what it was Standard Poodle.

The owner and poodle get out and immediately got into the water chasing a dog toy for 25 or so times. Inspector says I’m going to take my dog over and meet and greet. Each one took turns retrieving the dog until inspectors dog lays down and just quit. Poodle kept going

When inspector and his dog come back he looks at me and says how can that dog do that with such skinny legs my dog is bread for this and the poodle kicked his butt. My parents alway had standard poodles so I knew what they could do. Fascinating bred highly intelligent.

Remember Duck Dynastly and world champion poodle retriever

Alien hope your rib heals soon

Prayers for all

Last week I had an altercation with a tree on my mower. A trip to the Dr today confirmed a broken rib. I wondered why it wasn't getting any better. Told to rest or I would finish up with a collapsed lung. I will do as I'm told as I'm too sore to play up.
Wow, did the steering bar or the tree hit your ribs? Take it easy and don't be around people who tell funny jokes.

Good morning! I was reading the forecast yesterday for today, while it was 75˚ outside, and they said snow today. WHAT! They sure exploit the possibility of 1%. Clickbait, I fell for it.

53˚F. We have reached the high for today the temps will decrease throughout the day and it will be freezing by tomorrow morning. North wind. Looking for a few melted flakes of snow.

The population density is so varied in Texas. Some counties have 2800 per square mile others have .3.
We have about 592 per square mile and are the 11th most populated county in Texas, an increase of 50% since 2010.
Lee County where my mom lives has a population of 28 per square mile.

Rip, wngsprd, I also noticed the 30 cent rise in Gasoline this week.

No you know how to get deer near you during hunting season. No gun though, just a bow. Very silent. The possum cop will never hear the shot.
