Mower is the Z231 with the Kohler engine. I would have had to go to the next level to get the Kawasaki twin. Just too much money for a lawn mower. I have a Kawasaki twin on my other ride-on. Brilliant engine. The Kubota is a lot quicker than the ride-on.
Mine has the Kohler as well. Had it for 4 years now. Only issue was the recall on the safety switches. Got it back from the dealer and the pto switch was out.

Second time the dealer had it for 3 months. Said that me leaving it outside caused water to get into the switch.

Well me and that service manager didn't get along after that. I pointed out to the dealer that the only time it was stored outside was when it was in was in there yard.

Anyway, they finally got the switch in and back to me.

I bought the unit from a mom and pop shop. 2 years later the mom and pop shop sold to a larger dealer with multiple locations. The service went to crap after that.

I like kubotas but won't by one from that dealer.

What year? I thought all of the FCA (Stellantis) 3.0L Ecoboost diesels are made by VM Motori ?

Mine is an 08, bought from an 80 year old, has 27k miles, always garage kept, great service records. I wasn’t looking to buy anything right away, there are three vehicles les before I bought it, but I couldn’t turn it down. It’s like new in and out.

Mercedes and BMW diesel hard to find used now

Tata who owns Jag and Rover still offer diesel.

I prefer diesel just hard to get now and wife likes them too

For gas power AMG motors hard to beat now four litre vs old 5.5. I love to listen to 5.5 start up

Frank Perdue drove V12 sedans for years.

39F and sunny @ 16:00, and headed up to a high of 40F ... so should be able to get some good melting action out there today. Some highs in the mid-40's this coming week ... but also lows in the single digits.

Refilled hopper and deer feeder yesterday, deer feeder got an extra scoop of corn. Hopper feeder still has a little left in it but the birds - mostly starlings - are going at it pretty good so it will likely be empty later this afternoon.

Got plants watered and some trimming done yesterday ... they seem to dry out pretty quickly, except for the ones in little peat pots that are still in plastic bags.

Have been watching some of the Olympics over the past few days - mostly figure skating (pairs and women's) but some skiing, snowboarding and luge. The young lady figure skater from Russia has been incredible - given her young age she no doubt has a long career ahead of her, barring any injuries of course.

Just refilled hopper and deer feeders, also two suet feeders. Only 4 scoops of corn for the deer feeder today (they left a little bit in there + warmer)

Got notice that the two boxes of cat litter that were backordered at Menard came in. Placed an additional small order for more deer corn and suet ... since it's on sale ($2 off an 8-pak) which is now ready to pick up.

This week is Recycle Week so will take those up when I go since they're starting to pile up.

Hope everyone is having a great day ... (y)

Just 40 more days until the first day of Spring !

We “require” masks at worship for now, but there is no enforcement. Some don’t wear them, some do. With the rapid drop in numbers, they will be optional soon.

Thanks for the website Alien, I have to see what is available here that is similar.

The Dr. visit with x-ray went well, no breaks or cracks (just like LS diagnosed). The Dr. did notice the swelling and lack of flexibility from the fall and wanted to know If I need more EGORE. NO NO NO I can do it on my own once the swelling goes down.

40° and surprised to see rain when I left work.

And nice to see the big pile of trash gone when I got home, including a little bike. Wasn’t sure they would take that.

Now to start getting next weeks pile ready, I’m thinking at least the lid from an old charbroil grill. Might take grapple and see what it can do to compress it.

Wife made chili, it was good. Cats are fed.

Time to kick feet up some.
