would rather talk about this than church stuff. Just had one younger member use terms like ridiculous, overkill, outrageous in describing a variety of things including covid protections. And then he got on me personally for dropping my mask while talking in church (I'm the furthest away from everyone up front, at least twelve feet from everyone) while I'm enforcing all these rules, saying local kids don't have to wear masks in school. Really? So I've got this guy blowing a gasket on me. The truth was on Sunday I had to drop my mask, I was feeling poorly, soaked in sweat and couldn't breath through my N95 mask. Self tested immediately when I got home, and immediately discovered it was combo of low blood sugar and a new super strong dark coffee. So as sweat was dripping off me, I had to drop my mask a little, which promptly went back up. He wrote me quite an email. Well everyone gets their opinion heard. But since I'm the one with the legal bullseye on my back, I just might be a little more conservative than some. I'm hoping to give them all better news next Sunday.

you know it really is hard to please everyone and maybe a fool's errand trying.

Yup, had a Fiat 128 SL, darn thing ate wheel bearings. But they were relatively cheap and easy to DIY replace, about every 5,000 miles.

One can argue the point both ways Drew but who is right and who is wrong can be argued both ways. We are human we make mistakes but you are in charge. Listen to all points make decision and go with, as you said you cannot please all the people all the time. You will do the right thing I know

And yes, I've used the led lights on the front before to finish mowing at night

Mower is the Z231 with the Kohler engine. I would have had to go to the next level to get the Kawasaki twin. Just too much money for a lawn mower. I have a Kawasaki twin on my other ride-on. Brilliant engine. The Kubota is a lot quicker than the ride-on.

No worries, I was harder on myself than anyone could possibly be. Whipper had a bad fall earlier in the day right where I slipped. It had been so nice and warm that all the other ice melted except on that particular place on the patio and the porch light did not show it when I went outside at night I just forgot about looking for ice. We had 1" of frozen rain 2 days before - there is still ice on the patio this morning! It is on the North shady side of the house.

Alien nice Z. I was also eyeing the scooter in the garage for Mom. Could you tell us a little about it, does it work good in grass, she needs something to run around the yard in, to the burn barrel, propane tank, mailbox and she does not want a golf cart.

Good morning! 35˚F heading to the upper 50s, hopefully all the ice will melt on the patio today. I have a call to the dr. for an X-ray of the knee. It feels better but still a nagging pain that needs to be checked out.

Don, we have had the scooters for around 10 weeks now and they are used all the time. We chose those for their large wheels and top speed close to 30 kph. They are 3 speed so your mum would be happy in 1st or 2nd. We cruise the local roads on them and they easily handle our paddocks even when the grass gets long.
Range is about 50 klm per charge. We got ours from Reef ebikes in Oz. They are called Goliath scooters. We got 2 for the price of one if we had bought them locally.
