37 outside this AM. Heading to upper 50's.

What happened to take the Covid discussions to another thread or place? Why does one poster continue to bring it up here? Why the hypocrisy of some?

Kyle, I have a Ryobi, picked it up at Home Depot. Nothing special. It does the job, wife even uses it with her
exoskeleton back.

Hope all have a good day. Be safe.

Good morning, low temp 22 and high to 28°F. Wind WSW 8 mph. 70% chance of flurries which are happening as I type.

I slept in today, usually up att 5 A.M. not today, didn't get up until 6:45. It is a good thing I have an oil furnace to take up the slack when the woodstove dies down. The bad thing is that the tractor doesn't get to waste more hydro through the block heater. I usually like to turn the block heater on for about 4 hours before I go out and start the tractor.

First thing today is plow snow, then I may go to North Bay for the month end shopping trip.

That is pretty much my day mapped out for me.

Have a safe day all

45 looking for 60. Another beautiful sunrise earlier.

Last visitors, middle son and his wife, leaving today.

Kyle, I have to recommend against what I have...an Echo 58V battery string trimmer...works about 90% as strong as my Stihl gas trimmer, so I use it exclusively, and switched to a brush blade on the Stihl for woody stuff. The guy at the Kubota dealer told me about buying the pole saw attachment that fits on the Echo gas head and using it on the Echo battery head...I got one at HD and it just doesn't seem to have enough torque...binds frequently. My son has the gas Stihl pole saw and it's fantastic. Good luck on your search.

Good Morning!!!! 36F @ 4:30AM. Steady light rain this morning. Showers continuing this afternoon. A few flurries or snow showers possible. High 43F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%.

Noting like a good running machine to make a nice ride, Bruce. No surprise all those miles are wearing stuff out, though.

Sounds like good progress, Doug, in spite of the Huskys.

Will you use oat milk to make your oatmeal, Don?

Still more rain in the 10-day, Ted, so I'll try to head more of it your way.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised that the other Ethernet cable running through the same hole in the attic crapped out yesterday. It was also abraded/chewed, but I thought a wrap or electrical tape would take care of it. No time to deal with it now, though.

All loaded up and pretty much ready to go this morning. No telling what kind of internet access we'll have in Kernville, as we'll be in a lodge a few miles out of town. So I might pull a Paul for the rest of the week. Play nice while I'm away, OK folks? :ROFLMAO:

And Happy New Year if I don't get back too late.

Good Morning.
It’s 35 and going to middle 40’s today.

Yesterday was a slow but semi productive day.
Today, I’m getting ready to head down to Palm Beach, crop of some passengers, get some kerosene and come right back. Weather looks pretty decent, hopefully another uneventful day.

I’m another happy Makita 36v pole saw owner, I have the adjustable one that extends to 13 feet. I don’t miss the gas one at all, the Makita is far nicer to use.

I agree with taking the Covid discussions some where else, and apologize for taking the bait. Minds are pretty well made up and won’t be changed in either direction.

Mostly, my wife’s wrist has healed, you can remove her from your list.

just watched first episode of 1883, the prequel to Yellowstone.
All about their journey West. Wagon Train Westward.
Big part of US history, fun to watch.

yes, Mostly's list is a good list to get off of... ;)
but it sure is helpful to the rest of us. Like someone taking notes we can all refer to.

have a xmas gift certificate to TSC. Going to head up there this morning, thinking of another spare propane tank
Their store in Souderton was the largest I've seen, huge displays by Dewalt and Makita.
Wouldn't it be nice if they made it a requirement to work there that one actually has to have driven a tractor?....
Some of these folks only know how to sell blue jeans and dog food. The one I go to closer to Popgadget's home is a good sized one
also and they fill propane tanks for the lowest price around. I wonder however how much their propane prices have gone up recently.

41° at the farm.

Looks like more rain on tap today.

Told dad I’m going to put a game camera up to leave here. Aimed at the driveway. He’s had some stuff go missing before.
My ordered cellular camera hasn’t arrived, but will swap it the next trip.

Too wet to do anything outside. Might fly drone if I get out before the rain.
