Good morning!!!!

Good Morning.
59 and going to pass 80 with clear skies today.

Yesterday’s visit went well, wife enjoyed the collection of antique spinning wheels and beautifully maintained 200 year old farm and all of its original buildings. Did get some speaker work done, not as much as I had hoped, but it’s inching it’s way to the finish line.
Did all the trimming with the Lazer, and a little loader work for my son, then finished up neighbors electrical project.

Today is going to be another busy day. Going to start by getting the first coats of finish on the speaker, then have to cut some rubber sandblast mask on the plotter, take a look at a friends AC, then put the Progressive Mower on the tractor and mow, and end the day with the band.

There is no shortage of expensive restaurants in this area. Same with food purveyors.

59 here this AM. Heading towards upper 70's.

Had a nice visit with some family friends yesterday. Was unexpected, seems I stole his chain a long while ago. Funny thing I just used it day before yesterday and thought it was a real nice chain. Thought the daughter left it.
Then he calls up and asks if he can have it back. Flipping embarrassing. Wife was not happy with me. Heck, not happy with myself. One forgot about it, two not keeping up with stuff. Oh well, all ended well. They have not been out here for a few years, so they were giving the wife the accolades she deserves for her visions and projects that have been completed. Me, I am left to wonder what else I have absconded with over the years.

I really need to get the buckets out today and pick up the walnuts. I rolled down to the pool last night. Not good.
And the grass seems to really be doing well. Nice looking, lush and green. Looks like some quality time with the mowers is on order this weekend.

David, your unit is really turning out well. Nice job.

Hope all have a great day. And better weekend. Stay safe.

Good morning, low temp is 57°F and going to 64. Wind SW 5 mph. Partly sunny/cloudy. Rain this evening.

I finally got off my butt and got the frame cut off the conveyor. Today I will put the rest of the wood into the basement and maybe start on putting the power washer together.

A buddy found a '79 Ford 4x4 pickup in pretty good condition down south of London, ON for sale. Price? $20,000.oo CDN. I told him that the price was way too high for it. It does have a rebuilt V8 in it (he thinks 352cu") and two 4bbl carbs. I didn't think a 352 or a 351 Cleveland would run with 2, 4bbl's on it. Over fueling.
I tried posting a pic of it, but although I could see the pic at my end, by the time it got on here the pic was gone.

Have a safe day all

Drew sounds like good food price not really that bad at least what I see here locally. Steaks have really gotten expensive here $60 dollars not out of the realm, seafood down south almost doubled

Good Morning!!!! 62F @ 4:15AM. Abundant sunshine. High 81F. Winds light and variable.
The 10-day is calling for "Showers" on 7 of the 10, but the highest chance is only 50% on Sunday. Then it drops back into the 20%-30% range the rest of the week. But it's a good sign that we're getting any rain at all this early in the year, and it's cool enough in the evenings I'd really like to start sitting by the camp fire again.

NiLight looks like they offer a very impressive range of lighting, Ron. Thanks for the link!

Restaurant prices seems like they've just about doubled during the Pandemic. The portions are larger, but that just means expensive leftovers.

One of the reasons I keep sticking with Verizon is their tech support, David. Even though the service costs twice as much as the resellers, it's worth it when something goes sideways.

Is it too late to move one or both of those sheds to your place, RS? Seems like you're gonna need 'em to store all your new treasures. 😄

Bodyshop neighbor announced yesterday his new Generac generator is on the Fritz already. Not a good place to be with the PSPS situation. I think he was fishing to borrow my Honda, but he isn't very good at returning things so I didn't offer.

PSPS was supposed to start somewhere between 1 AM and 4AM yesterday, but at 11AM they sent out a message that it was cancelled. Nice of them to wait 7 hours before letting us know, but I guess we should be grateful they sent out any notice at all.

By mid morning it was so calm I got the top of the water tank masked off, and even got a couple cans of spray paint on it. Then the wind picked up and I had to stop. But I got enough on to tell it doesn't cover very well, and this Krylon Fusion paint will probably end up as a primer for a coat of good old fashioned Rustoleum applied with a roller.

I also got the fuel tank for the white bike masked, and with the promise of perfect painting weather this afternoon hope to get it painted. Maybe I can get the water tank done, too, in the waits between coats.

TGIF gang!🍻

Morning all, supposed to be sunny and high of 81 - and it's well into October, usually stays in upper 60's here
Got 2 buckets of wood split and stacked
Got out brush cutter and put on new renegade hybrid blade, it seems to work pretty well on sticks and even ran it into a stump a few inches, really quick cut. Can;t resharpen, but seems to be holding up with my limited use so far.

BEF - I learned never to go out with the saw and not bring a wedge. Supper looks good!

Drew - my friend from NY went to new deli in Stockton- I won't repeat what he said, but it wasn't good. $20 would be about right for a carnegie deli visit. So a bit high for Stockton.
My wife worked at Stockton Inn way back when, and my BIL reception was there, shame it's closed and new owners are trying to make it into some kind of conference center.

Ron- will probably do Win11 next week on my work test laptop-will let you know what I think. I have a TPM chip, which is required from what I can see.

No more foxes on game cam, only one squirrel left. All the nuts, seeds etc. are still on the trees or falling to the ground.
Usually by now the squirrel activity is in full swing, and barely see any black walnuts on the ground.

RNG - glad no outage for today-should arrest the power company CEO, but that will never happen as he scoots off to his mansions around the globe.

Stay safe and be well,
🐶 🏠
