Good Sunday morning all.
63 going up to 88 today in mixed clouds, should be a nice day.

shoulder bothering me this morning, must have slept in a bad position, may pass on church this morning as back
always hurts from a hour on a wood pew, but add an aching shoulder to that and I can't concentrate much. Going to take a few tylenol
and see how it feels in a couple of hours.

birds are singing loudly outside, hummingbird very happy with my new batch of sweets, made it a little sweeter this time since the rain dilutes it
and little bird seems to like it. I only have two, one rather dark one that comes a lot and a colorful one I see only a little.

what can a small bird eat naturally that has protein other than bugs?

Good Morning
It’s 64 and going to 85 today.
Patchy fog is burning off quickly, should be clear for the rest of the day.

Yesterday was hot and humid with rain late in the day. Tempest said .62, Davis says .41, cylinder gauge agrees with Davis. There is a clear pattern emerging that the Tempest rain gauge reads high, usually by around 50%.
I was able to get all the mowing done, even with a little maintenance break. I don’t have any of the belt guards on the Progressive mower, there’s 3 spindles and two belts on each of the three decks. Not having the guards makes maintenance access much easier as well as blowing off all the clippings after use. However, I must have kicked up a stick that went into the belts on the RH deck and knocked them both off the pulleys. Fortunately the belts survived, so I only had to loosen the adjusters and put them back on. I t was easy to see where I picked up the stick, it was where the cut swath narrowed to 10 feet. I mowed quite a distance until I turned around for the next pass and saw what was going on.
Got the first speaker ready to ship, two more to get ready to apply the finish as they work their way out the door.

Today I’ve got to do some work on some steel for supporting some sagging joists in my son’s house. He is putting a new kitchen in a 200 year old farmhouse, and wants to shore some things up while it’s torn apart. Then it will be back to the speakers. And then put my feet up and relax.

Good rain yesterday - we needed some.

Last very hot day - up to 97F - then rain tomorrow and more normal weather.

Today should be just relaxing. Maybe watch end of USOpen golf with my sons.

Yes Kyle we do have a fathers day here (thanks for the offer) but I don't see much of my girls now. One lives in Cairns and is pretty much disabled now with spina bifida and the other one lives in a town about a half hour away. She recently remarried and has a LOT of trouble with the husbands kids. Constantly kicked out of school etc.
So she at least phones me. The one in Cairns doesn't own a phone anymore. My wifes' kids are more family to me now. All grown ups and 3 boys and a girl.
I do hear from my grand kids and great grand kids though.
I don't ever get any gifts though
Mothers day 2nd Sunday in May. Fathers day 1st Sunday in September. (I had to look them up)

Sorry about both your daughters' troubles. Sounds like the one's step kids need some tough love.

All's quiet for the moment here, with the family sleeping in a bit. Son gets to be an acolyte this morning in 1st service church. Then, he and I will man the the computer and do the slides for the 2nd service. Going to be hot and humid today, and even hotter tomorrow with heat advisories posted. Possible feels like of 112F.

planted all the flowers, watered them, watered the other plants and had worked up
a good sweat. Time for a break and then back out to work in relative cool of garage
putting bench grinder together. First time I've owned a white wheel, only had grey before, white
apparently better compound for fine sharpening. Start with grey, finish with white I believe is the plan.
And since this is a variable speed grinder, fast for grey and slower for white wheel? 2000-3400 rpm range
I'm only doing mower blades, not someone's heritage Buck knife.

Dogs appreciate not getting their butts tickled. A bit surprised how thick and tall. Wife attributed to fertilization regime.

Need to get on the big mowing, but just a bit more I want to get done in the caretaker unit first.

Six squirrels at feeder this morning.

Got more work done on fish tanks last night, still more to do.
