I'm on Verizon and upgraded phones last year;
retired my old Motorola Moto and bought a new Motorola Moto G power,
when it arrived in the mail I tried using Verizons on line service to switch
then ended up on a help chat that was anything but,
Send in both phones and we will put a new sim in the new phone,
the more I thought about what I was getting feed and what they wanted to charge.
I said to heck with turned the phones off pulled the sim from the active one shoved it in the new one,
turned it on and it worked all my phone numbers transfered over, the on line bill and a couple of functions took a couple of days and all of sudden every thing was fine and the new phone model and all showed up on my billing.
Never got a charge for any changes.
I had done a phone backup to my computer but I'm not sure that it worked properly, except for the pictures that I had transferred to the computer.
