Nice flowers RS. You've really worked hard to make your place look nice.

Thanks Drew.

Still have a very long ways to go ... but making some progress at least.

Saw a lot of blooming daffodils in Virginia, but not here yet.
They are still growing.

Shouldn't be long now ...

Glad you found a car dealer that was willing to take care you.

Happy B'day to your dad, I know it's tough with covid and aging, but I hope he got some good food. Your FIL has a treasure trove of human powered antiques. I've powered one of those clamp on grinders many times.

Mostly, I mostly skied on Connaly, and EP, but I always reached for a Maharajah when I had the chance to.... I couldn't figure out "big people" till I got to the end of your post.

Ron, nice picture. My wifey thought that chipmunk was "so cute".

Wifey and daughter are having some good talks last few days. I thank God for my wife. My daughter is the type of good natured person, that gets easily swayed by "characters" in her life. Nothing horrible, but stuff that she knows better.

Drew, drive careful. How do you like your new ride?

LS, good news.

RNG and TxDon working hard with saws and tractors.

Guys....you might want to do a manly amount of research before you pick up a copy of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition this year. (makes me want to puke).....

ALERT #2
Here's a video which explains a lot of why we get so many scam calls. There are a few very key sentences when he is explaining the racket. They take advantage of good hearted elderly folks. Turns out, much of the problem stems from India. I say we cut off their internet for a month, then if they pay back every dime and punish the racket, we'll think about turning it back on.

Prayers for our team, especially those in pain or worry, and our country,

Very interesting video. Have watched the glitter bomb ones before, but he has gone to a new level. I get multiple scam calls per week.

Wngsprd, I still have not seen our first snake of the year. I'm beginning to wonder if the record 0˚ freeze a month ago sent them back into hibernation.

Randy, is that red thing on the saw horse a corn chucker or a grinder?

Drew I also had to check the potatoes. I now have 57 plants up out of 64 planted. I randomly planted 4 different kinds: Red Pontiac, White Kennebec, Yukon Gold, and Red Lasoda. Now I can say that digging potatoes is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to pull out.

New Lennox furnace installed. High efficiency 96%, two stage and variable speed fan. Cannot hear it run on stage one.

That was a lot quicker than last time.

Drew, you passed close to me on Rt 15.

where you get on Rt15 at I66 is hay market. I have a spruce tree in my yard that a friend who lived there gave me. He didn’t want it in his yard and dug it up by hand, I got it on my trailer. I drove the Leesburg to Frederick section daily for several years.

Wife decided to grow some garden plants from seed this year. Tomato’s and peppers growing good, very few of her flower seeds grew.

Oldest son is taking a new job where he can work remote, so he is looking to move to TN. Next week will be his last, then he’s taking a week of leave.

No word on shots available from any of the places I have registered with.

Taking tomorrow off.

Daffodils and forsythia starting to bloom.

Good morning All.

55 and cloudy right now. It was 53 when the dogs went out this morning. Lots of rain yesterday and last night, estimated 2”. My glass cylinder rain gauge hasn’t gone out for the season yet .

Grass is greening up but don’t anticipate the need to cut lawn for a few more weeks .

Randy- did I spy a red painted hand crank corn sheller in your FIL’s stuff? I sure could use that in the years that we grow popcorn!

I hope everyone has a great day.

Frank

Sure is a corn sheller, I have 86 pictures and that’s just a drop in the bucket.
