Paul - buy a bigger box and create the correct size for shipping? Maybe Staples has what you need?

That’s exactly what I did. Staples online had the size I needed, I just had to buy a bundle of 25, but they ship them for free.
I line the boxes with 1” insulating foam and wrap the speaker in shrink wrap before fitting it into the box.

Was taking trash out, just happened to notice the package UPS threw out on the ground about a 3rd way up my drive.

Good day to all! Low went down to 20 last night, and... the wind started...gusts to 50 last night, up to 40 through today. There are 2 cold fronts coming across... yes 2... and they are heading SE towards you Texas guys.... our high will only be 37 today. Hopefully by the time it gets down there, it will warm up a bit...

Another night of only getting 1 to 1 1/2 hours sleep at a time. Get into a position of comfort, let the knee calm down, rinse and repeat.....
I didn't get a call back from the rehab facility on Friday to schedule the weekly rehab like I was told would happen.... I'll call and remind them first thing tomorrow.

Just taking it as it comes today.... might drive the recliner again....

Wifey not feeling good today, her arthritis is acting up big time, especially in her mid / upper back were it is the worst. Trying to get her to relax for a change....

Primary task today is get taxes filed. Actually they are done, I just want to review one more time. TurboTax passed final checks without errors, just a sanity check from me.

The garden bit the dust.
A week below freezing, low of zero ˚F and ice and snow took it's toll.
Even the gardens that were covered did not survive. 90% of the new spring plants in the green house survived.
I picked enough Kale to put in a soup.
Potatoes and onions go in the ground next week if that next big arctic freeze stays North.
I hope Giddings still has seed potatoes and people did not buy them up to eat.

Have you considered just having a conversation with the County Chief Appraiser? Our present and former Chief Appraisers are / were always open to a discussion to assist tax payers. I have an ongoing conversation with ours, regarding a potential switch from an agricultural tax valuation to a wildlife management tax valuation. They've been extremely helpful.

The long time county auditor just announced her retirement. Dad said, I know her, but I don’t know the new person taking over.
Dad will be 97 next month. Us kids will have to do whatever needs done and most are not close by. My sister who lives nearby said she’s not doing it, as they already do most other things for him. I understand that.
I have email into soil water conservation, they would do the timber inspection.
Dad just doesn’t want to mess with it at his age.

And he does have a couple domestic grape vines, for what that’s worth.
If I was only closer.

Jeep brake light came on and stability control light. OBD had no events. Checked fluid, down to below min .... added 6 oz DOT and everything started working.
Leak somewhere....this thing is a money pit so far.
