good morning all. 13 degrees on Sunday morning and a lovely sunny day going up to 37.
Tomorrow, back in the soup, one to three inches of snow, but with warmer temps should melt in a few days.

today is muffin delivery day, first have to stop at garden shop and pick up an indoor plant for my MIL, who I'm having lunch
with. She is making me stuffed peppers, a favorite of mine. Then after lunch I will drive up to Popgadget's home and drop off a plate of muffins
for his family. That will get all the calories out of the house.

am surprised at headlines about Texans getting huge crippling electric bills. How can their bills be so high if the power has been off so much?
Is it just the cold weather and a lot of electric heaters running?

Eric, lovely, is that a cherry tree?

17 and lots of stars..going to 42...maybe the rest of the snow and ice will melt before we get more tomorrow.

Eric, nice flowers...we had our first crocus bloom starting to open a couple of days ago before it covered up with snow.

Went for a nice long hike and then finished and filed taxes last night.

Glad to see you Texians recovering. Hope it isn't too long before a return to normal.

Ron, I love red-breasted nuthatches.

Good Morning
It’s 19 with a forecast high of 35 with clear skies.
4” of snow forecast for tomorrow, I’m supposed to go to Hilton Head, but might postpone to Tuesday to avoid getting deiced, as it will add $2500 or so to the bill.

Yesterday’s road trip to pick up the bass went well. It turned out to be nicer than described. I identified it by the serial number, it was built in 1951. I spent some time with it when I got home, took a ride down the lane and back with the tractor to scape the thawed ice and push the banks back.
A friend came by with a small electronic repair job, and before I knew it it was dinner time.

Not sure about today, might be a good day to exercise the small plane, it hasn’t been run in a while. Rumor has it the muffin man is coming this afternoon.

Good morning All.

16F and clear as the sun comes up. Supposed to be 31F this afternoon with lots of sun today. Was above freezing briefly yesterday, but snow only settled. Not much of it melted.

Nothing on the agenda today except a grocery run this morning. Maybe some NASCAR this afternoon.

Enjoy the last of the weekend!

Frank

makes the whole house smell good. I cooked bacon for breakfast, just a little with a fried egg sandwich, then rest of bacon
will get crumbled up into red sauce I want to put over pasta for tonight. Haven't had bacon in a long time.
which from a health standpoint is probably a good idea.
But a little crumpled bacon on a home made pizza? Yum
