Got to 23, up to 35 now, not much higher today. A typical two weeks of winter weather ahead.
Had a busy weekend but not too much on the schedule today.
I got my new recliner Saturday, it has a lot of bells and whistles. Suede leather, and separately controlled headrest, footrest, back and lumbar support. And it’ll dump you out if you want. It doesn’t have heat and vibration, but that was extra on top of the already rather pricey tag. So far I love it.

Watching Final Countdown, I forgot how cool it was, 1980, Kirk Douglass, Martin Sheen, Katherine Ross, James Farentino, and Charles Durning. Not a huge movie fan, but I always loved this one.

I'm back in from my 'clean up' job. Took 3 hours, but I am pretty finicky when it comes to this place. All the snow banks are pushed back on the driveway.
Unless I have to go to North Bay to pick up the DIL, I will do nothing today. Kittens go to the vet tomorrow and I will pay for the tow then.

Front and back driveways are done. The sun is doing its job well. I love this time of year as the sun gets higher in the sky and the paved areas melt quickly.



Ken - we did get our second shot appointments scheduled within the timeframe recommended.

Final countdown movie- last time I saw that was during an overnight with the scouts on the battleship NJ, quite appropriate.

More snow coming, lots more here than usual.

I got my second vaccine appointment when I got my first shot, they set it up so that your appointment is the same time either three or four weeks later, depending on which vaccine. I have the card and email confirmation.

Starting today that's how NH is doing it, what a concept!!!
When we got shots last week you had to make your second shot appointment yourself on the vaccine website. The earliest we could get an appointment was 60 days out, needless to say we were not happy campers. After hours on the phone the wife finally got the info that they were adding more appointments 8:00 Saturday morning and to try then. The only problem was the website was so overloaded you couldn't log in. It took over two hours of repeatedly trying to log in using multiple devices and finally got logged in and managed to get our appointments and a confirmation email which was a huge relief. I will admit the people my wife spoke with actually called her back today to make sure we got appointments.
