Good Morning crew,

The rain was slow and steady yesterday, it was supposed to let up by afternoon and did not.
Maybe it clears us this afternoon.

Better luck on the septic Buppies. Must be some strange warped reality we live in between us. My wife told me yesterday she called the county for some special person to come out and look at ours. We seem to have a pretty big wet spot on one of our lines. Or at least we think it is off one of the lines. And wet means mushy puddles. I told her it could be a spring. LOL.

On the HD front, I retooled with that ugly green manufacturer. Yeah, same battery for all the tools. Making my life simple. If I get half the lifetime I got out of my Black and Decker I will be satisfied.

Took the final measurements for the front porch siding, patched some ceiling holes, and moved a chair out to the porch to test that view out. Now on a compressed schedule to see if I can beat father time. The news was not good from the ortho, partial tear, some fancy ligament name in the rotator cuff. I kind of figured it was bad the other day when I went to hop the front fence and face planted when the arm did not cooperate.

51 now dew point 41 high of 57 today
It’s actually raining now, supposed to get around an 1” or so.

Mowed yesterday for last time this year. Lawnmower is serviced and put away until spring.

Off to pickup a grocery order and take the rest of the day as it comes.

I have never measured our total rainfall. The long term average figures from the nearest recognised weather station are below a metre per year, though we are over twenty miles away on higher ground, so it could well be higher here. Our rain tends to come little and often, very rare to have more than an inch in a single day.

Today is a typical will-it-won't-it rain day, with random gaps in clouds giving dry spells that can last anywhere from 2 minutes to 2 hours. Planting sweat chestnuts today and taking a few holly cuttings, so damp weather is no problem at all.

RNG, electric valves are good for automation and handy if you can't easily reach lever operated ones, but is there another reason you are thinking of going that way ? Is it just the potential for having even more fun fault finding at some later date?

Coffee has finished brewing. 38° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 66° with mix of sun and clouds. Got .38" overnight. Did not get my conserve energy day yesterday. But did get laundry done. That is except for folding and putting it away. Did get a couple of small things done. Menards still on list. My Aunts birthday is today. 92. :dance1:
Took this picture awhile ago. Looks good even with dandelions. Wheelbarrow plants were in rusted out and fell apart. Plants have been moved to a new location. Not the dandelions.

Drew, like Randy I love my Comcast/Xfinity Mobile. I think the Tech should have been saying cost is only 10% of what Verizon cost. Only down side of their system is you have to have Comcast Cable, Internet or phone to keep the Mobile service. When I travel I use my iPhone as a hot stop to run my iPad and computer. I got rid of my house phone and signed up for a Xfinity Mobile phone. Then set it up for call forwarding. I only need to carry one phone. The phone doing the forwarding does not need to be on.

Riptides, hope arm can be healed without surgery. Hope the porch gets done before you run out of time.

Buppies, hope no lines needing replacement.

Mostly, my Aunt's son (my cousin) was with us on Sunday. He lives in NY City. His yearly ride distance is like yours. Over 6K. Not bad for 65 years old.

Yep...when I go out do morning chores I turn outside lights on so whatever out there can run since I don't like running anymore.
When clock go back an hour we'll gain morning day light but loose it on the other end of day.

Good morning! Fall is back! 49˚F heading only to the mid 80s.

Drew good luck on getting your real ID. They would not renew my mom's DL without a birth certificate they turned her and about 4 other people away. Luckily we got her Birth certificate from down the street and returned and got the real ID. She only drives to the mailbox but needs the DL to keep insurance if anyone else drives the car to take her anywhere.

Good morning,
the low today is 48 and going to a high of 57°F. Wind WNW 15 gusting to 22 mph. Showers since midnight ending sometime this morning then clearing.

I did absolutely nothing yesterday. My bad.

A town run with maybe a trip to the dump as well is in the cards. Today I get my summer tires off and snows put on.
