RNG, thank you! I ordered that kit from Amazon, right color too. Better solution than Don's....:D

Hmmm, I think that was that other Texas guy that suggest the alternative solution, but I liked it so I'll gladly take the credit . . . or rejection.:D

Caught this clip the other evening on the back porch. The little monster is becoming quite the pet. Darn thing tried to run up my leg while I was doin' somethin' on the iPhone, and I nearly jumped out of my skin.

So that guy is wild? Cool pet to have; you don't have to take care of it.

70°F and .04 inches rain. Ole Sol trying to make appearance today. A few hours of that should have everything growing profusely. Need to get back on the mowing.

Got some overhead storage together in tractorshed and with help of my forks got some stuff up out of the way.

Got basic locations of doors and window roughly marked out in the container. Not ready to start cutting them out.

Everyone keeps asking when we are getting another dog. Not in the plans, but sure gets me thinking. This is 1st time in over 20 years with just a single dog. Seeing Kekoa’s moping around has reminded me why I said it’s better to have more than one.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Drew, glad to hear you are getting situated, bumps and all. But be careful. Passwords - frustrating at best. Apple IOS handles nicely, except a couple of sites with poor implementation.

70°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 89° today. Dry today, but rain for the rest of the week through Sunday. The bright side of that is the temps will drop down to highs in the 70s for a couple of days. Not going to hate that.

Wife likes her 42" deck on the rider and the zero turn because it gets into tighter spots around the yard. I've thought of either getting another zero turn with a wider deck to replace the rider, or maybe even a finish mower for the tractor (which would get me more seat time :D). A bigger ZT would be more convenient, though. Dunno. Need to do some research.

She decided to put up the new lift for the dog stroller by herself while I was at work yesterday. Looks like she did a nice job. She wasn't able to get it to work right by mounting it on the side of the cross beams, so she mounted a section of 2x4 to the bottom of a beam with lag bolts, and mounted the device on that. Clever girl. Pretty much done with that side of the garage now. Looks much cleaner and organized.

Glad you've finally secured your freedom, Drew. I know they say that blood is the price of freedom ... but, you didn't have to take that quite so literally, did you?

Looks good 🤙
My garage is just 24x24 which I thought quite sufficient when I built it. Often I think I should have made it 3ft wider each side and in middle.

Last stop before tacos was to pick up a BevMo order, a case and a half of Shiner Bock. It's all they had.

Eleven days ago, I bought a case (24 bottles) of Shiner Bock, long neck bottles. When I got home, I was putting them in the shop refrigerator and one bottle was too light; no bottom. It "appeared" that the bottom of that bottle was very neatly sawed off. Now a broken bottle might not be too strange, BUT the case was securely sealed, there was absolutely no sign of any part of it ever having gotten wet, and there was NO broken glass in the case; just that one bottle that looked as if the bottom had been neatly sawed off, and the bottom of that bottle was right in place. In all my years, I've never seen anything like it.

81 degrees this morning, going for a high of 86 with a 50% chance of rain. Well . . . I'm glad to say I got about .49" of that 50%; almost half an inch. I was sure glad for it to water my yard. My last water bill was about $40 higher than usual and I've no doubt at all that was because of my lawn watering.

80F and mostly sunny @ 13:30. Two days of nice weather on the menu before 40% chance of rain on Thursday.

Haircut and a shave on the list before anything else.

More work done last night on garage clean up, need to remove the mower and put the loader on and move a bunch of stuff out of garage down around to the back so it can be put in the basement. Also some stuff to move up to the shop. Then roll the Simplicity into garage.

Need to check stain color in sunlight now that it has dried.

Couple of pics of the front after mowing yesterday using new "Ultra Wide" mode:

Dethatcher needs run over lawn ... but that isn't going to happen until I get it painted and put back together.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ...

I've never measured ours. Have to do that when I get home tonight. I do know that when I pull in and my side mirror just misses the garage door frame, we have just enough room for our two small cars to still use the doors to get in and out. We used to just manage when I had the Soul and she had the last Sorento, but it was tight. The Rio and the Niro fit pretty well together.

But yeah, I'd still rather have more room. This garage was added as an after thought, several years after the house was built. The pieces of plywood under the fridge/freezer and two of the new cabinets are covering the old window wells. The one under the fridge/freezer used to go to the the bedroom that is now my studio. Those windows were walled up when we remodeled the basement.
