Good morning! 76˚F, feels like 76˚F, Wet bulb 74˚F, Humidity 91%, mostly sunny heading to 93˚F. Could the wet bulb temp also be the lowest temp that a water evaporator fan can produce?

Wngsprd, glad Coco is barking to communicate with you.

Whipper used to bark for hours in the middle of the night keeping the country wildlife from encroaching on the country house. We got so we could sleep through it knowing that she was keeping the armadillos out of the yard and the coyotes from eating Gray2. Now her arch villain is the neighbor and she constantly is watching for him to come out his back door and will continue barking till she sends him back into the house and Whipper ignores us. He is a good neighbor and says dogs like to bark and does not mind but we do. Whipper is not ignoring us now when our commands are reinforced by the beep/vibrating collar. Two more weeks of training. We still want her to bark at bad golfers that wander too close to the yard to mess with their concentration. The inexpensive collar does not have a remote, that is the only thing that would make it better. Now we have to take the collar off to turn it off.

Drew make sure you find all those edges and disable them before they find you.
Hope the AC gets a head start on the heat and is able to keep up, or you can find an additional cooling source to assist it. Maybe Ron can direct you to a RV forum that has the problem figured out.

I get my Apple Watch today and can start the study. I checked and I can take it in the pool so I need to sign up for pool reservations in the lap pool. The covid distancing has made reservations required so people can stay apart.

Good morning 75 when I walked the dog, going up to 93.
Was too hot yesterday, did get the stair painting finished, but that is all, still need to clean up rest of the Ash and probably take another one down before it falls.
Maybe get the fridge out today to see why the ice maker is wetting the floor when it tries to fill.
Yellow jackets don't seem to be happy about the borax bath, but they still seem to be multiplying :-(

Drew-glad to hear you made it out-neighbors asking you how the other guy looked with your head banged up!. Place some thin neoprene over the edges so at least they are not sharp.

Stay safe and be well

Good morning to all! Low of 56, going for 86 today. This cloudy weather has been really nice keeping the temps comfortable. Since the humidity is hanging around 60-70 percent, I am now sweating while working.... something that normally does not happen because we are so dry. Today is the last real good chances of showers, going to get dry again for the next week.

Drew, congratulations on "being free"! Sorry to hear about your injury, heal fast. I hope you can get accustomed to the RV surroundings quickly...

Our main internet is down, probably due to some storms rolling across last night. I am using my phone hotspot, so can't use up too much data. Hopefully we get back our service later and I can check back in.

The whole house fan is not going as planned, area that I chose was a lot tighter than anticipated. Got the main fan unit installed after cutting a ceiling joist and putting a cross header in place. I did not foresee having to do framing work. Today, I will get the electric hooked up, run a new switch, and then build the ceiling damper.

Everyone have a great day

Good morning. It was 75° with 98% humidity / 78° dew point so .. very foggy here this morning. Our high is forecast to be 91° with increasing rain chances this afternoon / evening.

The 4" of rain over the weekend brought both tanks up by about 6" and best part is that County Commissioners didn't have to discuss a "burn ban" which was to be #1 on their agenda yesterday.

To all concerned .. Kyle is still Kompressor King. I'm glad to just be Kompressor Prince.

Drew .. the solution is simple. No need to cover sharp edges.

Get a spare or two .. for visitors?

I'm going to take advantage of moist soil and see if I can push over a couple of dead post oaks in one of our pastures today.

Hope everyone has a nice "Hump Day" Eve.

Prayers to all.

Good morning 87 with a dew point of 69 high of 95 with a heat advisory until 8pm.
Did all the outside stuff early and picked up a grocery order this morning.
Off to pick up a new AC and a couple other errands. The AC has been acting up lately,
its 23 yrs old so I can't complain.

Mostly_gas, sorry but no pics of the dog hiding in beard! Besides dog's cute, me not so much!
I would probably break the camera.

Enjoy your day all.

Good Morning!!!! 74F @ 7:00AM. Plentiful sunshine. High 103F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Good luck with the HHF, Ted. Where does the exhaust from the fan go?

Hope the collar helps Wipper bark only when appropriate, Don. And I wish the neighbors would use them on their dogs...

Sassy looks comfortable under that stool, Ron, probably because of the cool tile underneath her.

Hope the Etheopean coffee roast exceeds expectations, Billy. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'd try that one...

That sounds like a lot of paving, Buppies, especially in this heat!

Were the fish biting at their party, Bruce?

Somewhere out there in Internet Land are plans for a yellow jacket bait dispenser that uses Fipronil 9.1%. It's made from an old sports drink bottle. I need to make another one for my yellow jackets. The idea is to mix the insecticide with the bait, something sweet or maybe cat food, and they'll take it back to the nest to kill the whole lot. Takes a week or so to work, but soon, no yellow jackets.

I'm waiting on another 20% off coupon at Betst before I order a wider flail mower, PJ. Probably won't be 'till the late winter, though.

What could go wrong? The lead to the MIG gun is too short to reach into the tank from the ground, so...

Upsie Daisy, and now it reached. Got the holes in the tank patched, and the stiffeners welded in, just about the time the rest of the metal got too hot to touch.

I need to get out there in the next hour or so to get the rust conversion coating on, too...

happy to report rv thermometer still says 73 degrees, doubt it will stay there but as long as it stays under 80 I'm fine.

went food shopping at Food Lion at 7am when no one in there, was able to stay away from few who were there. Everyone including workers were masked and
I kept sanitizer in car. Nice to get the fridge full again.
Then went to Camping world, bought a small Coleman propane stove and hope to barbecue some burgers tonight for dinner. Also got three inch thick vent covers for exhaust fans, got them installed, and now to make the bed and take a nap. Also got a folding outdoor chair but sure not sitting out there today, 97 predicted.

RNG, thank you! I ordered that kit from Amazon, right color too. Better solution than Don's....:D

70°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 89° today. Dry today, but rain for the rest of the week through Sunday. The bright side of that is the temps will drop down to highs in the 70s for a couple of days. Not going to hate that.

Wife likes her 42" deck on the rider and the zero turn because it gets into tighter spots around the yard. I've thought of either getting another zero turn with a wider deck to replace the rider, or maybe even a finish mower for the tractor (which would get me more seat time :D). A bigger ZT would be more convenient, though. Dunno. Need to do some research.

She decided to put up the new lift for the dog stroller by herself while I was at work yesterday. Looks like she did a nice job. She wasn't able to get it to work right by mounting it on the side of the cross beams, so she mounted a section of 2x4 to the bottom of a beam with lag bolts, and mounted the device on that. Clever girl. Pretty much done with that side of the garage now. Looks much cleaner and organized.

Glad you've finally secured your freedom, Drew. I know they say that blood is the price of freedom ... but, you didn't have to take that quite so literally, did you?

Had another course at the range last night, low light shooting. No weapon light, so I used a little push button light that turned out to work pretty well. My shooting didn't show it, though: I was all over the paper! CV19 has gotten me rusty...

Drove the van into town, and the instruments worked fine, after I remembered to hook up the Vehicle Speed Sensor. It threw a trouble code to remind me. :duh: Took a small panel off the firetruck with me, and swung by the paint store to have a matching pint made to touch up the welds I've been making. After the tech cleaned all the grunge off the panel, we found a color chip that was very nearly a perfect match.:dance1: Last stop before tacos was to pick up a BevMo order, a case and a half of Shiner Bock. It's all they had.

Uneventful trip home, though I'm not used to driving in good light that late at night (8PM ish). No more trouble codes when I got home, to I'll call that a successful run in.

Caught this clip the other evening on the back porch. The little monster is becoming quite the pet. Darn thing tried to run up my leg while I was doin' somethin' on the iPhone, and I nearly jumped out of my skin.

Sounds perfect for sipping coffee tomorrow morning out under your awning, Drew.

No luck with a folding table?

RNG, thank you! I ordered that kit from Amazon, right color too. Better solution than Don's....:D

Neener, neener!:D:laughing:

Need to head back out for another coat of that rust converter...
