81F and cloudy @ 22:00.

Got all the wood cut for the shelves, earlier in the heat ... just as it was looking like it would rain.

The Woman helped clean up the area just inside the sliding door downstairs and I got the table saw moved inside. Took pressure washer outside while she was finishing that and cleaned off a couple years-worth of dust. Blew off all the sawdust from the patio. Radial arm saw was too big to fit through the door so I tarped it and left it outside under the deck.

Looks like there might be enough wood to make up another two barn owl nest boxes (or ???) from the shelving drops ...

After that I got cleaned up and we headed down to Menards to pick up most recent order, grab color chip chart for exterior stain and take a look at bathroom fixtures.

Checked house sparrow trap on way out, no new customers.

Swung by Moe's Southwest Grill and grabbed some dinner to take home on way back.

Saw probably a dozen house sparrows on the driveway on the way back in.

Never did rain here ... but sky was looking very dark over Akron and points east as we drove back from Moe's. Still a chance we could get some in the overnight ... otherwise Tuesday will probably be the next opportunity. Sure could use some rain tho.

Hope everyone had a great day ...

Good evening all. 77F for the start, clear sky, light breeze. Light to moderate wind today, partly cloudy sky and high temp was 96F feels like temp of 101F. Chapel to start the day, found out one of the chapel goers was Covid 19 positive and asymptomatic. Made wife breakfast, went into energy conservation mode. Back tire on Volagi was flat again this morning. Found the leak this time and patched it, found the cause in the tire and removed it. Then adjusted rear brake, then moved cadence sensor back to 10-speed, 2 more rides to get it to 6K miles.
Covid update: Cooke unchanged, Montague unchanged, Grayson 848 confirmed cases, 79 active cases

Thanks for all the HB messages. I hope you all had good days.

I bought the sweet fresh cherries in the produce for maybe $2.89/lb. I bought 2.5 lbs. The recipe we used called for 3-4 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice if you don't have sour cherries.

So Mostly is partly powered by cherry pie! :)

Oh, and I hope everyone had whatever type of ice cream they prefer today.

Mostly, if you ever decide to come up and bike the 185 mile C&O canal you got a place to stay. I’d bike it also, but I can’t do 50 miles a day anymore. The towpath is great, almost level, lots of shade. I did it with the scouts, 1/4 each year over a weekend each year. Actually haven’t tried a bike since GBS.

It was the 3 H逞エ today. Got a 5 minute sprinkle, rest of the rain went around us.

After we got home from shopping, stayed in the garage as much as possible with the fans running. Made a lot of progress on the race bike resto. Seat is mounted, rear wheel is shiny, forks are rebuilt and shiny, the wide triple clamps I found are shiny. Now to get a long axle so I can install the shiny front end. This belonged to a friend (REP), and I know it never looked this good.

Wife managed to find a buyer for 13 Serama chicks. They are prolific at reproducing.

I didn稚 watch again Kyle, we were out last evening. Sounds like I missed a great one. I liked the production Twins outcome.....got a message from CTex last night late, he was happy.

Everyone stay safe out there.

Yes, CTex ran away with it. I was worried for the first few laps, after seeing the semi's, but he ended up doing his thing. What a talent. His sister had a good race too after struggling in the semis.

So you are shining up an old bike? I liked the Bultaco Astro races too. OH, and I didn't realize it until it was almost over, that the MotoGP race was on network NBC today.

good morning all
currently 80 degrees going up to 97 today.

up too early, enjoying my decaf coffee and organizing my day.
Don, interesting article, thank you. I think the faster I get out of any facility where lots of folks are confined in a small area, the better...
