72°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 94° today. The humidity has definitely returned here. Storms predicted over the weekend should dial the temps back a bit.

I was in my studio last night when my phone signaled that I had a voicemail message from my Wife. It never rang. When I tried calling her back, it kept dropping the call. We both have the iPhone 11, and have never had any reception issues until yesterday. Solar flares, maybe?

Neat pic, rip.

Good morning all 70 going to 87-another hot day!
NJ/NY/CT announced anyone coming in from a hot Covid state will need to quarantine for 14 days- But aren;t these three the hot states?

Wngsprd-Hope Coco makes it through this ok and the Vet finds some fix.

Drew - good to hear that closing out the farm and possessions is going well. Sounds like you neighbors, family etc. are really doing great to help out someone who has helped them so much in the past!

Today it's time to finish the spacers and cut back some areas along the drive. Still need to remove about 10 stumps from one of the side yards, maybe if nothing else breaks in the next few days.....

Install of changing room curtain rod in pool house is also on the list, and of course the wife bought some plants that I have to put in.

Back to the day job.

Stay Safe and be well all.

"Does that bear hand you the next tool when you need it, Thomas? Not sure how comfortable I'd feel with that kind of help so close."

He would make good helper moving and lifting things for me but does keep unwanted intruders away.

Maybe the Sahara dust is blocking cell signal. I stopped watching news, if you all hadn’t mentioned it I wouldn’t have known.
Cell service is hit or miss at my house. Still never got my Wilson amp installed. Upstairs is better, but 1 bar.

Cat is at vets. Now wait to hear back. It’s at least constipated. Nothing changed in it’s diet.

78F and mostly cloudy @ 11:00, WB has an alert that says there slight risk of severe storms from now until 08:00 Saturday. Claims there is a 70% chance of storms of some variety on Saturday, and 30% on Sunday.

After that it looks like pretty smooth sailing for the rest of the 10 Day.

On the iPhone, phone not ringing on an incoming call is a regular, if rather rare, occurrence. My understanding is that it is due to way cell phone systems operate generally (IOW, not strictly limited to iPhone)

Regarding putting the phone into "silent" mode, sometimes it is not a bad idea to flip that switch back and forth a few times ... just to be sure. Personally I have found the switch flipped to silent even when I had not intentionally set it to that.

Thomas ... ya really haven't lived until ya have one that size charge you (ask me how I know :D)

BEF - if that cat is strictly on a dry food diet, might want to see about getting it some wet food at least once a week (especially if an older male) Some "Cat Lax" once every month or two is not a bad idea either. We feed ours Purina Pro Plan "Hairball Management" ... and some occasional barfing is a regular occurrence and expected.

Billy - Good Luck with Coco, hope it turns out well.

kenmbz - on NJ/NY/CT - apparently not anymore ...

RNG - Hope you are able to get some responsive answer on the solar equipment.

Mike - glad you are back up and running on the AC ...

Ron - nice hummer pic - thanks for posting ...

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day.
