55 right now...high in the low 80's today.

I'm off work, but have plenty to do around the homestead. Dump run is the first order of business. I started mowing after work yesterday and I'll finish that this morning. Then, back to trimming and chipping limbs.
We need to move some furniture around before a treadmill is delivered. That might be accomplished today....

Good morning! 55 and raining now. Supposed to make it to 70 today. Then steadily getting warmer this weekend. Seems a lot of chances for rain over the next week.

Went to town since I was off yesterday. Surprising amount of traffic. Lowe痴 was very busy, lot of empty shelves. Fortunately, got everything I needed. Lots of cars at the mall.

Came home and decided to finally get the grill ready to go. Skies opened up and I was soaked. Oh well. Did some stuff in the garage after that.

Got dinner last night. First day we are allowed to walk into the restaurant. I know one of the managers, she was telling me the state rules seemingly change by the hour. The staff of the restaurant is 100% responsible for enforcing changing rules and the business can face immediate revocation of their liquor and business license for any violation.

300 cases in the county, 3 deaths, all 3 had other serious conditions.

Hey Kyle, races this weekend in SC,available on Pitrow.TV. Mees, Halbert, Gauthier, etc. are racing. I got a notice this morning our local short track races next Saturday:thumbsup:

Everyone have a great weekend and stay safe out there

Poured second of coffee. 56° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 66° with chance of rain. Got some weeding and weed killer spread yesterday. Not much else accomplished. If rain holds off hope to get lawn mowed today. Garden Pond needs some care. Maple Helicopters are filling skimmer.
Lots of little ones showing up in my yard.

Drew, special prayers and best wishes for getting better.

Buppies, wow way to much rain. Hope you can get trees removed and fence repaired.

RS, one of my visits to Txdon had seals go bad on his tractor FEL. Took it to his local dealer. They repaired it while we waited. Don and I did a complete tour of all the tractors and attachments around the place. Somehow we managed to not buy anything other than the repair. :confused3::D

Don, I bet you miss all your Cousins since you moved to Georgetown. ;) I think Harvey got stuck in 2004.

Buckeye, lots of jobs available in Auto Industry for engineers. Hope your friends got good ones. My Dad retired from Chrysler.

Jay, getting towed by fish out away from shore. Would worry me. I always had a boat much bigger than the fish I was fishing for. But they could spools a 400 yard reel pretty fast. We do have fish that can exceed 50 lbs on the great lakes.

Rick, glad you found fan before it fell. What kind of ceiling fan cost $400? Oops, then I thought I would look and see what my 3 classic Hunter fans would cost today. They do not make them any more. :( I have 6 ceiling fans. All Hunter. Lots of good quiet fans cost over $400.

Randy, send some of that fuel up here. It's been stuck at $2.40 since April.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

Nice pic.

Our maples trees are dropping Helicopters like crazy. This years squirrel batch (at least SIX more) are gorging themselves. Speaking of maples, another one by the house is looking weak right now, the leaves are not developing right on the whole tree. Not the same one that tried to branch me the other day. I fear I am looking at another couple grand to take it down. The bases are all four to five feet in diameter on these trees. Sigh...and too close to the house for me to take out.

Good morning! 72˚ 55% humidity. 5mm of rain last night.

Yesterday I was mowing the yard with my EGO and after 5 minutes the red battery low light came on. I put it in the charger and grabbed another battery but the charger just blinked red. The battery (5 amp - 1 year old) is still under warranty so I registered it on the EGO website with a amazon receipt last night. I hope to get that resolved today. I finished mowing with my 6 year old battery. The battery that went bad was manufactured September 2018.

RS both the FEL tilt cylinders started leaking after 10 years (1000 hours) within 6 months of each other. Both times Kubota fix them while I waited (about 30-60 minutes).

Good Morning!!!! 57 @ 5:30AM. Plentiful sunshine. High 78F. Winds WNW at 10 to 20 mph.
We'll be in the 90s by Sunday, and into the hundreds starting Tuesday for three days. Hope the solar guys can minimize the time when the power to the A/C is off.

Sounds like good progress on the upholstery project, Randy. Be nice to see some pics if you get a chance. They say no news is good news, but I'm not so sure that's true in Drew's case.

Nice fish, Bruce. At least they're biting again.

Thanks for the link on the video system, David. That one is "currently unavailable" at Amazon now, but there are plenty of others on offer. I'm not seeing any with waterproof monitors, though; I don't have any dry parking for the tractor, yet.

I'll be in touch with EA about the tooth bar after I get the top'n'tilt valve set, hopefully early next month, Don. Their's is a flat design, that seems suitable for replacing the existing edge. Doesn't make any sense to add more unnecessary weight to the bucket by sticking another edge over the old one.

That's a big baby, Ron. How many are there this year? Do they nest in your yard?

Tough dig in the trench yesterday. Still really wet, and the clay was sticking to the shovels, making it necessary to scrape it off frequently. Made for heavy loads, too. That, and lots of rocks in the dirt, most of which were too big for the shovel. Still managed to get 2/3 of it cleaned out, but that wiped me out for the day. So I put up the shovel and took a sit down job at the wheel of the tractor, and got three hours of mowing in. Slow going there, too, to keep the flail from loading up. The new knives did cut a lot better, though. Tractor did fine on the side hills, with no sign of tipping and plenty of traction. Getting better at controlling the touchy go pedal, too. Used the ear muffs with a bluetooth connection to the iPhone and listened to some tunes; that tractor is a LOT louder than the old one! Really nice having a roof on the thing to keep the sun off, too!

Town run today, maybe so some more mowing when I get back.

TGIF, gang!:drink:

Keep forgetting: We're up to 31 CoVid-19 cases in the county, three in the hospital, no deaths. They're testing seventy something people a day now, so not surprising there are more diagnosed cases. I still plan on wearing a mask in town today.

Good morning to all! Low of 36, going for a high of 80 today. Slight chance of showers Monday. Originally forecast for Sunday and Monday, but now just one day.... I guess the drought will probably get worse.

Ron, nice pick of the little one, thanks for sharing!

RNG, nice to hear that the new tractor is working out and you are again making progress!

RIP, you are bringing back some of my childhood memories of trying to catch the maple helicopters.... I have not seen them in years... let alone trees that big!

I am trying to get motivated this morning to go shovel the gravel off the trailer. I tried tilting / lifting the trailer yesterday to slide the stone at least to the end.... nope... stayed in a pile, just now on a steep angle. I even had the wheels off the ground. I will try it again today. No word on shed arrival date, so no big rush.

Might have to go to grocery store, I do not want to go tomorrow....

Everyone have a great day!

Wow, some really nice pics guys. Enjoy them, thank you.

Good evening all. 66F to start, overcast, light breeze. Moderate wind gustiness came and went, few peaks of sunshine, and high temp was 75F. Stayed on cold side of front today. Went fishing this morning first largemouth on our lake. Celebrated with bike ride then nap.

Ahhh, fishing. I need to do that more often. Nice fish.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 47ー with clear skies this morning. Heading to 72ー with mostly sunny skies. Got some trimming and weeding done yesterday. Also a little weed killer put down before winds picked up. Put shelf outside in the sun. Dried the paint enough to put shelf up. More weeding and weed killer today.
Cranes nesting in field.

Drew, prayers and best wishes you are on your way to recovery.

Jay, glad Brogan made it back and you have just been busy. Been working with Sassy to get off leash. She is doing good. Still responds to me saying NET. Stops whatever she is doing and heads to back door. She will not fit in the butterfly net anymore.

Yes, prayers for Drew. Glad Jay is back. Run away dogs are no fun. Glad they all came home, even if a bit muddy.

Ran across this, blast from the past:

Truck's name is/was Lucy. I hope Harv and Glenda are good.

Thanks for the "heads up" Rich. Hope your work woes are better. I think it might be financially better to actually get laid off for some right now, than to just work for reduced wages.

Going to be hot today. Need to get on the tractor and shred/slash.

Prayers for our team.

:
The young crane is about 1 month old. Takes about 3 months to get feathers so they can fly. That is first baby one I have seen in my yard. They must have a nest across street from my place. That's where they came from and returned later in the day. Looks I have 3 or 4 different groups of Cranes visiting my place daily.
