48 outside...heading to 68 today.

Time to finish the lawns.

Wind finally exited the region. Two days of gusts nearing 50 cleaned out the trees. Pick up stick day is also on order.

Have a great day all. Be safe.

last few times I've logged into TBN it's popped me back to 2017 for unknown reason.
Opened it up to hear Roy saying a foot of snow coming. Then I looked at the date...

Yep, for a couple of days now.

Was 31 when I went out to enjoy opening day of gobbler season. They were smarted than me, so I only heard wood ducks, geese, pileated woodpecker, and some warblers and other passerines. Beautiful sunrise and finally no wind, but frost looks like it did a number on the apple blossoms...will see how the dogwoods react.

Looking for 64F. All this talk of cedars makes me feel guilty not finishing the clean up I started last month. I will try today.

Have not noticed any strange TBN behavior.

Ron, cool photo, again. Thanks.

A couple of WEEKS?

If you like Blue Point and Shiner, maybe I should git me some BP. Is it a local beer? I've never heard of it before...

Stephens Point brewery Wisconsin.....I can't get it down here either except by special friend delivery.

That would last me for eternity with a dozen left over. Unless you meant the butter.

Looks like weekend's worth to me...

Ha! 25 years ago, it'd be the same for me. Truth is, it hopefully will last my wife AND me 2 weeks. :)

A mostly sunny and breezy 31ºF for today's low temperature with a dusting of graupel on the ground at sunrise; a breezy, mostly sunny 35ºF presently; and I anticipate a breezy PM with high temperature in the mid40ºF's. A great morning to walk the dog and go for the dump run. I see green popping out of the soil; it's been a long time, but I think they are plants. I am really glad the highway department road crews threw down some de-icing chemical yesterday.

Drew- This next pending storm will be a very strong system. A quote from NWS/Boston-Norton Office: "In the big picture we have the phasing of two distinct disturbances? It never really happened this Winter (maybe 1X 2X?), but at least I am seeing a decent phasing now.

I wore a DIY mask to make the dump run this AM and observed that only 50% of the males (4) were wearing face masks and 100% of the females (4) were wearing masks..... Around here gender is often hard to distinguish which makes life all the more interesting.

Ted- I am interested in your newest landscaping project. All I ever do is "creatively" move rocks around.

David- I am glad you were able to find you iphone and better undamaged. BTW- Have you looked at R-1's with a 22º tread pattern on your front tires instead of the 45ºF?

RNG- I am glad the perp got some immediate justice.

BEF- I am sorry to read about your FIL. My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

I hope that everyone has a decent day.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Just got news FIL might have had another stroke.

Boy! I hope not!!!
Having had a stroke (21 years ago, now), I've been taking an aspirin a day....just enough to thin the blood. And, it needs to be aspirin, not some of the other pain relievers. Coated aspirin, like Ectoprin (sp?) works best and less upsetting to one's stomach.

I hope, Buckeye, if it was a stroke, it was only a mild one...
