Wow, I read about you guys having snow showers and I am getting sunburn! Got a good amount of progress done on the pond and landscape area. Here are some progress pics.... I figured two tractors are better than one, so the neighbor came over with his to help! Big Blue and Baby Blue.... not as big as Rick s pair, but these sure make the work go easier!

You should probably thank Harold by helping him with a sunshade for his tractor??

It is already in his garage, all painted up and ready to go! Just need to find some extra time.... Monday is supposed to be bad weather so maybe then.

One of these things is not like the others...

A couple of WEEKS?

If you like Blue Point and Shiner, maybe I should git me some BP. Is it a local beer? I've never heard of it before...

About 4 hours brush hogging. Almost didn’t end well.

About half hour or so before I stopped, my iphone somehow slipped and fell into the unknown. Mowing in a very low area with no cell, no wifi. A couple of drives around the area and I didn’t have much hope. Not quite, I was really hoping I hadn’t mowed it into pieces.

Went back up to house, got wife with her phone and my old phone that just so happens had an app, Find My Device.

Wife tried calling, but right to voicemail. Apple’s app didn’t work being no cell or wifi. The Find My Device app uses Bluetooth. Wandered around and suddenly it connected. App gives a Warmer - Cold message in relation to position. Finally got Warmer, looked down and there it was. Facedown and no apparent damage 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙 Location of phone is how I’m guessed about half hour.
Decided that was a good time to end the work day.
Back to house with wife and had a Black Russian.
I’ll be using one of those phone holder pads in the future.

32 right now...high in the low 40's today...
Other then picking up a prescription of BP meds (and probably a case of beer while I'm out), no plans today.
Stay safe, all!!

good morning all.
Surprisingly cold out, 31 degrees, all that nice cold Canadian air came down.
Very clear night, had a spell in the hot tub at midnight due to leg cramps, and enjoyed
sitting there in silence and looking at the stars. Big dipper was easy to see.

Ted, nice pics
I've pretty much stayed with HP over last 40 years, seems they make printers as cheaply as can be,
don't charge enough to make it sturdy any more, like hooking you on drugs due to replacement cartridges.
Worst has been the current printer with five ink cartridges. Now I buy the generic cartridges online though one batch
drove me nuts by error messaging every time to start with You Are Using A Non Approved Cartridge, or something of the sort.
HP list price at OfficeMax is nuts, 69 bucks for a cartridge.

Looks like heavy rain coming in Sunday afternoon through Monday morning. Helper coming this morning, he asked that we keep our distance,
clearly a smart idea. He's going to be weeding in the garden and easy to distance.

David, glad you found your phone.

I found three packets of seed left, freebie packs that came with main seed order, going to plant them this morning, then garden is done.
Am hoping last night's freeze doesn't wilt what is already planted. That time of year when these intermittent freezes
can mess up the garden. I had just watered everything heavily so hopefully they will shiver and be ok.

You're a good neighbor.

Did Harold get a backhoe too?

You two can be Big Enis and Little Enis now?

Your first picture reminds me of our place a few years ago Don.

Does your area have mostly live oaks? Are you battling yaupon too?

Neat and clean makes the tree look young again.

Finished drinking first cup of coffee. 23° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 56 with mix of sun and clouds. Did not get much done yesterday. Going to spend some time cleaning up last of the pond today. Then make a couple of brackets for bird houses. Haven't used either of my welders in a couple of years. Will be interesting to see how that goes.
Lonesome George (because he has no mate) has got most of his summer colors.

Rick, good luck with finding a lens. Seen some on EBAY. But prices seem high. Tamron is also a good lens.

Randy, my HP 6500 has been good for over 5 years. I do not use HP cartridges.

David, glad you found iPhone. I do not carry my iPhone to do projects outside anymore. Let Apple watch let me know messages or calls have arrived.

LS, getting neighbors tractor to help with projects is another way to work toward a tractor for every attachment.

Kyle, looks like you have enough room for a couple of cases.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.
