Don do you know why?

No, but apparently the steering was not a direct gear like the Farmall was. The knob ended up at a different o'clock each time I used it, even though it stay at the same place on the steering wheel.

Just bough bananas yesterday but have to be careful can drive potassium levels up
Bananas are not the highest on the potassium list. 15 others have more potassium than bananas.

I have a suicide knob on both the ride on mower and the Kioti. I found it is a huge asset when doing loader work, like placing gravel, moving snow etc.

Quote———- LS, you have a good son, you do realise what he sacrificed to let you get some more tractor time digging that trench ? Secretly he had planned a dramatic video, toiling for days with pick and shovel, the final shot in the video zooming in to show his hands covered in blisters. Instead, bless him, he let you have all the fun while he could only watch paint dry ———Eric

Good morning. It's 69°, 91% humidity, and overcast this morning. Forecast says sun will come out by mid-day and we'll get to 89° this afternoon. That about same as yesterday so with almost no wind .. it felt hot! We'll be back in the 70's by the weekend.

I did manage to go retrieve my 55HP tractor from RCO yesterday a.m. John Ryan believes they will be forced to shut down today by local govt.

Harris County, where wife's Houston office is located, issued a "stay at home" order starting today. Ft. Bend county, where our Richmond home is located, did same. She's Sr. VP of a mortgage company and they're considered to be "essential". Grand daughter's high school is closed until at least April 3rd but .. they started on-line learning this week. I feel sorry for her as she's missing all the Senior Year fun. I told her she could drive the Corvette the last week of school but .. I doubt if her school will reopen this year.

I hope everyone stays safe and healthy in our daily changing conditions.

Prayers to all.

Good morning to all! Low of only 38, windy all night. Today is supposed to be sunny and warm, high of 64, no wind forecasted ... but someone didn’t tell Mother Nature... it’s still windy outside....

I cannot figure out the grocery supply chain issues... the local grocery store (Kroger chain) was almost fully stocked, normal amount of people shopping. Walmart, about a mile away, was the complete opposite. No meats, the cheese and lunch meat cases empty, frozen goods empty...
I haven’t gone into town to Costco, but I am assuming it is like Don’s .

I will put another call into the surgeon this morning, hopefully get through to someone or at least a callback....

Rick, after John looked at the neighbors tractor, they came to the conclusion that he would be better off with a new machine. He is upgrading to a 2020 TLB. He told John there was no rush and to take his time getting it ready. He will just go back down in a week, or two, or a month.... I think he will be better off with a new one.

Hope you guys with snow are able to deal with it without difficulties. Maybe the last “Hoo-rah” from old man winter....

Wng, hope your MIL is ok, and you don’t have any more of the weird dreams....

Ron, hope your BIL gets through the pneumonia with minimal treatment.

RNG, hope your pressure gauge held overnight... no more re-dos allowed...:D

Today’s agenda is to give the tractor a bath and get rid of the winter dirt build up. Probably start up the drip system for the landscaping. Lilac bushes are opening their buds, Bradford pear trees are not far behind...

Everyone have a great day!

I've no doubt John will do right by him Ted. He'll probably be happier with a bit bigger tractor. I've seldom heard anyone say "my tractors too big".

John expect the local govt. will issue a "stay at home" for them. I told him that the Feds have declared agriculture "essential" which would supersede local mandates.

Good morning to all! Low of 38, going for 65, but windy again this afternoon. Red flag warnings starting at noon. Tomorrow has a chance of showers, but even more windy.

I have a spinner on the LS and it will be at a different position throughout using it. Definitely because it is hydraulic steering, (the variable flow box that the steering wheel is connected too).

Cases of Covid19 now above 100 in NM, the local gooberment is worried the counts are going to spike over the next week.

Did not get an opportunity to power wash the tractor yesterday, maybe today. I got delayed rearranging a section of the shop, which will still require more arranging today. I need a bigger shop....

Got the drip system up and running at the old house, still have to install a full drip system at the cottage. The plants there get watered by hose. I will have to give them a drink today or tomorrow.

LFN, hope your daughter ‘s tests come back ok.

Thomas, sounds like the tractor was a good choice!

Everyone have a great day!
