56 going to 63 and the promise of 100% chance for rain :).

Happy Birthday to Ellen, who keeps Randy straight.

Jay, pretty place. I think I see shade on those solar panels.

RNG, I can't believe your state hasn't already added a potato tax.

BEF, crab good.

Took Coco on a hike to the river for a swim...made lingering skunk smell worse, not better. Then moved more MIL furniture yesterday, and hung pictures and plaques on the walls. She has a nice collection of Cape Lookout paintings and prints.

Taking it easy today, I think, using all day rain as my cover.

Drew,
As far as your RV in tunnels I seem to recall some signs that prohibited vehicles carrying propane tanks,
it's been awhile so I can't say for sure just which tunnels that was in.

As far as the tractor addiction I could possibility be slightly affected;
My orange was Allis Chalmers,
Green was the good green Oliver,
of course Ford blue, the 8000 really got me going,
Red for all the Internationals (Farmall) and now Branson.

With well over a dozen on the farm then my 2 for the yard and driveway,
both red now :drink:

Lou, that's a really nice collection of tractors. I saw a man pulling a trailer yesterday with an Allis Chalmers on it...always like seeing them and Olivers.

good morning all.
Rain is just starting, cooler day, about 56 now, going up to 71, rain this morning,
"thundershowers" this afternoon. New term I hadn't seen before.

Only thing I have to do today is make a run to Boss Hog, the local barbecue joint, and get a lot of
fried chicken and barbecue to go, feeding friends Friday night in rv.

BEF, thanks for driving tips. I took Route 30 the last time I made this trip, definitely more scenic but hard to avoid the Turnpike at some point.
At least now with EZPass set up, the toll booth aggravation is eliminated. Other than in my wallet...
I've made a lot of trips to Lancaster area, growing up an hour or two East of there.

the sound of an Amish buggy moving along

I have planned on making a "shore excursion" to the big Amish market in Hagerstown
on the way home, on the way to Winchester VA to see my brother.
Hope to bring some good food home, though by then I'm likely to want to eat only salads.
Being on the road and going out to restaurants several times a day with friends is not good on fat, salt and sugar intake.

Am also going to work on getting pictures hung on walls of rv, as Ron suggested, going to use isopropyl thoroughly on wall first, which
I didn't do the first time and both prints fell off the wall in hours. One is framed with glass so not a good thing, almost tempted to use a hook with a tiny
locating pin, but if you've owned an rv, you know the wall paneling is about a 1/16th of an inch thick. So a trip to Walmart to get a different brand of sticky tape will be included today.

Hope you all have a good day.

Lou, thanks for propane tip. I will turn mine off tomorrow morning before I leave. With built in, non removable tanks like mine, that is usually
adequate for bridge regs. It stops the fridge from running while turned off, but once over the bridge, when I stop, I'll turn the gas back on.

Coffee is done brewing. 46° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 50° with rain and wind. Thunderstorm woke me up about 1:30 this morning. Never got back to sleep. Good thing all I have to do is grocery shopping.

Buppies, have you lost your truck? Oh I see. Davids truck is in shop.

Farmer, hope your sons health improve.

Hawkeye, hope your back is getting better.

Prayers for all.

Good Morning All.

I have had good luck with 3M command hooks. Then use double sided tape to stop it from swing.

good morning all.
I read a number of South Pacific tourist islands have also banned what I think they call single use plastics..

Yeah that was us. the Government bowed to the green side of the coalition and banned single use plastic bags. the sort the supermarket puts all your groceries in at the checkout. The bags were just the right size to put kitchen waste in as a secondary use but I guess politicians don't get in the kitchen much. The wording in the legislation described them as single use plastic bags, with handles and x microns thick.
One small trader had a large supply so he just cut the handles off and carried on using them.
Just before the law came into effect there were a lot of 'green' TV commercials about how bad they were. one showed a turtle with a plastic bag around its neck swimming in an ocean full of plastic and other crap floating around. The sheeple swallowed it up not thinking, We don't have turtles in the waters around our coast.

Good morning all

42 and going to a high of 46°F. Wind NE 17 gusting to 26 mph. Rain all day, heavy at times. Raining now, so I guess the weatherman wasn't wrong this time.

DIL has a 2PM Quack appointment, so I get to do nothing all day.

Have a good day all
