Good evening all. 73F for the start, clear sky, calm wind. Light wind moderate gust, clouds increased to mostly cloudy during the day, high temp was 93F HI 100. Men's meeting to start the day, bike ride, dental appointment after lunch, have to go back, filling going bad :(. Light shopping after dentist then nap :)
Don last winter, second visit to cardiologist, wanted to recommend pace maker just based on heart rate. After short conversation, he decided not so good idea.
Check, nice view, and pic. Is that cedar lap siding in the fireplace chase pick?
Rick, our best day for rain is Friday.
PJ good luck getting to Hawaii, been several times and always enjoyed it.
Jay congrats on surviving prep, good colonoscopy, and success with your diet.
Buckeye, good update wish you continued improvement.
DABSGT, congrats on the 20 pounds lost.
prayers for all.

Rick, yea, the plan is to do some sort of subframe mod. Will likely start a post on it hoping for lots of TBN advice. Current thinking is to get a ladder type frame built and the front support. Another TBNer is sending me the LS bracket.

Paul, TBN family is always welcome. Must have been a very successful electrician. I know we can’t afford Maui. Big Island where we are is NOT postcard Hawaii, but we love it. And remember I have an LS

Great a David. Perhaps .... you do a project thread over on the LS Forum.

"sending me the LS bracket." ???

72ーF and .01 inches rain.

Waiting for George to call with news of concrete delivery date. Hoping for soon, but no control, completely at mercy of plant, masons, and wx.

Should get brushhogging today

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

What do you personally find the most accurate in rain measurement?

/ Good morning!!!! #99,230
I have my own Davis Vantage Pro II, just trust what it tells me.

Same here, David. But sometimes I see a lot more rain on the ground than shows up in the gauge, and wonder of somehow if the wind is keeping all of what comes down from registering. There are also times that the temps reported by the Davis differ substantially from other thermometers outside. I suppose that's a bit like the fellow with two watches that never really knows what time it is.

Ditto over here, on the tractor-parked-until-we-get-a-rain...not too worried about snakes, though.

53 and getting up to a perfect 74. No rain on forecast for the next week :( but the NASCAR fans should be happy with the race in Richmond this weekend).

Buppies, sorry you're ailing.

The only time Coco eagerly jumps into the back seat area of my truck is when we are leaving the vet. Like yesterday. Glad her annual checkup went well, but one thing to recheck next month.

Surprisingly cool 51 here this morning, Fall has surely come.
Beautiful weather in forecast, which due to house guests coming in is a real plus.

One last bit of mowing to do, should be lovely out in the cool air. Yesterday was so nice in being able to mow for hours on end
and not get hot and sweaty. That cool Canadian air.

Once the mowing is finished I have to build a small teak seat for the shower in the rv.
Then I'm going to wash my truck which is sadly
way overdue, and then start to fix up the guest bedroom. Cleaning ladies have it perfect, my job is not to mess it up...
but I put a bottle of water, some Werther caramels, and fresh flowers on the nightstand.
Flowers need to wait until tomorrow morning. There's usually something growing out there and if I'm lucky I'll find a rose.
I'd like to find a crepe myrtle that's blooming and has some blooming suckers that need clipped.
Basically I sort of scan the place for something colorful driving around on the golf cart and
go investigate. Usually there are some roses blooming somewhere.

Buppies, hang in there. Same for Toppop.
David in CT, are your leaves starting to turn yet?
Buckeye, take it slow and don't overdo. Sounds like you are making good progress and working
your way out of the woods. And back on your tractor seat.

Pwinters, welcome to GM, what kind of kubota do you have and approximately where do you live?

37F clear sky 70 for high.

Safe to say chimneys in the valley are puffing little this morning.
Lucky enough to watch 2 young bucks doing some pushing shoving to one another trying to impress the girls...girls had no interest.
E muffin feed little critters slow roll to work.

Enjoy the day all.
