69°F and .09 inches rain.
Picked up wife towable 10 cult cart at HD yesterday to replace old one with bad tires. She will use primarily behind her mower but I think I’ll fab a simple hitch for the golf cart also. My quick attempt didn’t factor in the lift.

Had looked to just replace the 15 yo tires but just tires were half the price of new cart.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

David, I’ve found tire replacement almost not worth it on wagons and carts, especially cheaper ones. But it seems a waste to throw a good one away.

Very possible Bird. My cottage tenants wife had reaction to first shingrix shot, her husband and I didn’t but we both had reaction to second shot whereas she didn’t. I’d describe mine as almost flu like. Only lasted 24-36 hours.

Totally agree Randy.
I believe the old cart had 3/4” axle. I think I have some smaller, 5/8 tires that while not good for off road mine be ok for a few more years on the concrete if I find way to change out the axle.

Checking In!!!

HHH weather here. Dump run and a trip to the “Big City” for supplies. Too hot and humid for any outdoor activity excepting smoking some ribs soon. Brogen is not a happy camper; nor is the rest of his pack.:(:(:(

RNG- I hope you have manageable heat and weather for your outing.

Randy- I am happy to read that you are getting better. Please take it easy.

BEF- I hope the chosen treatment is effective and alleviates your symptoms. A couple of days hooked up to a machine is far better than a life trying to deal with the GBS. Hang in there.

RonJH- I hope the docs can figure out wheat’s going on with your wife.

Drew- There was fruit on my pear tree; nowhere near ripe; but apparently ripe enough for some critter. The usual suspects are porcupines, deer, and/or bears. Brogen probably knows, but he’s not talking.

Bird- Congratulations on the great grandchild:cool::) I am sorry to read about the reaction to the vaccination. I hope it resolves quickly.

Don- Thanks for the link. I can not take that vaccine; but my Wife is considering taking the series.

“Placing wife's mom in a memory care facility for when we are away, may become permanent getting harder for my wife who has MS and dealing with her own medical problems.”- DABSGT There is already enough on your Wife’s and your “plate” with which to deal; and honestly if Mom adjusts to the placement it would be disrupting to her to change her environment by returning her back home. Good luck.

Ted- Try not to overdo things in your preparations.

I hope everyone is managing in the heat and humidity,

“Sure wish there was a major button to push and all here would be better.”- David All I can offer is my + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Buckeye, either treatment has been shown to have the same effectiveness so it would be a tough decision, like you say you can always do the filtering if you don't show lasting improvement after this second set of treatments. Has it been two weeks since your first symptoms? I was looking back on your post and it looks like about 7-7 is when you first reported having hip pain.

Picked cucumbers this morning and made 4 quarts of dill pickles in the electric canning pot. I still had cucumbers left so I went to the store and got more jars. Now I'm making 8 cups of bread&butter pickles using turmeric to add the yellow color - no butter. Only got about 30 minutes of seat time on the JD this morning, but that was enough before the heat set in.

Mostly, I'm thinking of the Yamaha Drive gas also because of the 12 mile round trip to the garden, or if the low water bridge is OK it's 9 miles. How fast will yours go?

96F sun beating down slight breeze...great weather for wood piles dry and corn growing.

Got everything done I wanted to and now enjoying twin stick popsicle.
BBQing later on than plan on relaxing on the deck into the late hours, gotta keep reminding myself about 3 months snow flakes could start dancing in the air.

Enjoy our evening all.
