Good morning! A warm 79˚F before sunrise, Summer has started, but the good news is that the days are getting shorter.

Welcome back Randy, those side effects sound nasty. Those blinding side effects of Hawkeye's daughter are scary.

Jay I was talking to my brother who is on vacation also. As a kid vacations were about what we did, now they seem to be about what we ate, a sure sign of getting older. With that in mind we found a local restaurant with a secrete vegan menu hidden under the counter and allowed to view only on request. I guess they don't want to scare their customers away. I snuck a pic of it. shhhhh.

Never seen a live horse race in my life though and would sooner sacrifice a few pints of blood to a million midges than be at Ascot in top hat and tails on race week

But ..... if you ever do ......we'll get pictures? Right?

We need to always bike ride/pedal like Mostly. He seems to stay pretty healthy.....although riding against the wind is no fun. Even on a motorcycle.

Bob Segar had it figured out.

I like biking, but not on roads, prefer bike trails. just dont do it any more, at least not since boys got out of scouts. I want to get a good exercise bike, cant find one i like, or with good reviews.

I went to the horse races in Detroit, MI, once and to the dog races in West Memphis, AR, once. Never saw any reason to go to either again.

Slept in till 6:30 am long day yesterday dancing with pole saw cleaning up brush.
Plans for today...Take Mrs. food shopping check game cams BBQing....kick back day.

When looking at the game cam pix and videos, it turns out that the bears were in the front yard as we drove up the driveway. Of course, we didn't know that until later when I looked at the pix, so we were out walking around checking out the damage with flashlights. We definitely need a "living with bears" strategy, and that starts with an end to doing things that attract them.

Lots of sympathetic friends who asked if they can have my tools and cameras if I died, bastards....

Reminds me of some years back when my youngest brother had a little heart attack. A cousin came to my house and we went together to the hospital to see my brother, who has long been a golfing fanatic. And as soon as we walked in the room, our cousin asked my brother, "If you don't make it, can I have your golf clubs?" I'll have to admit my brother was pretty quick, and just said, "I was hoping they'd go to someone who knew how to use them."
