Good morning all,

52 this morning and mostly a blue sky. Weather guessers are saying possible showers today/tomorrow. Not a lot going on today, might get the Harley out and ride up to Afton for lunch and look around at the the TSC they have there. Would like to get some 3/8" bucket hooks for the Kioti.

Prayers for all, have a nice day.

Good Morning!!!! 63F @ 6:00AM. Sunny to partly cloudy. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High 88F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph.

We've been talking about rain avoiding one spot or another, and yesterday it happened again here. While I was in town I got weather warnings for flash floods and violent thunderstorms, and as I came out of Costco, the northern and eastern skies were very black and I could hear thunder. I only had one more stop to make, and I had visions of driving through driving rain and dashing into the house with just the groceries, leaving the rest in the truck until it passed over. But there was barely a drop on the windshield the whole way home, I got everything unloaded and stayed dry. So I took a look at the storm tracks on the radar map, and only one small arm of the cell passed over the house, and my path home had dodged right between two converging storms. I may never win the lottery, but I was a weather winner yesterday. I did get a motion alert from the tracker in the van at about the same time that cell passed over the house, so there must have been some strong gusts. Tried to review the weather data for that time, and it was missing between 1PM and about 6PM. Weather ghosts?:confused2:

Sorry about the bad news, Thomas. Hope you can find someone that wants a pellet stove at a fair price.:confused2: The Kindling Kracker got me through this past winter's kindling needs in only a couple of hours.

There are bears in the area here too, Jay, but they haven't found their way to my back porch yet. I hope you can find a way to discourage them to move on to someone else's garbage and bird food cans.

That's a LOT of block, Ted. Hope the knee's behaving itself.

Learned last night that the Garmin mapping software runs so slowly under the latest version of MacOS that it's not usable. Of course there's no update from Garmin, the company I love to hate. So I poked in a route for today's trip into the GPS, the tiny screen on which made for a very difficult time. I'll get there, but maybe not exactly along the path I'd have liked.

Time to get packed and out of here; don't wanna get caught out in this afternoon's thunderstorms.

Hope everyone enjoys the weekend; see ya Monday!

Good morning to all! Low of 45, going up to 82, slowly creeping higher temps. There is a greater chance of t-storms today.

Jay, awsome bear pics... I wonder if he's "testing the waters" to see what he can get away with... Be careful !

Eric, I think it was an miniature alien spacecraft starting a miniature Stonehenge.... You better be careful also...

I'm heading outside to stay ahead of the "maybe" storms...

Everyone have a great Friday! Prayers sent, extras for Randy!

63 degrees this morning, going for a high of 83. I had sort of planned on mowing this morning, but a very heavy dew and no breeze at all, not to mention the ground still being very wet made me decide to wait. There was no rain in the NWS forecast, but now the radar shows it's coming.:( Oh well, Miss Bunny likes deep, wet, green grass.

It's 38° this morning. Yesterday ended up mostly cloudy with a shower in the afternoon and the high was in the low 60's. Today is going to mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of showers and in the 60's again.

Didn't get much of anything done yesterday after getting back from town. I do have a few little things I would like to get done today, I'll see how that goes.

I liked everyone pic's, keep them coming.

BFE ... Nice mower, enjoy.

Toppop.. Hope everything goes well and you get out soon.

Here is hoping everyone has a great weekend.
CWB.

64°F and cloudy this morning, going up to 83° today. Going to be sunny all weekend, 87° Saturday and 78° Sunday. Might be able to get the tractor out to mow the pasture this weekend, finally.

Nice pictures, fellas.

At least 1 confirmed tornado yesterday, not the one i posted a pic of. Maybe 2 more.

I think all from the same storm cell.

Don- I'd rather deal with bears than a rattlesnake. This little guy is still pretty timid, and he can really move out at a good clip.

RNG- Good luck getting to the meet up. I hope the weather holds for the weekend out your way. Despite the weather I sm positive that you will have a good time and see old friends.

Ted- That bear is definitely sizing up the situation around here. He will get bolder soon enough. A daylight raid is not a good omen. I hope that you get some seat time in today before the predicted storms. I hope Mr. Knee does not complain too loudly.

I measured out the garden area and drove 12 stakes for our tomato plants today. It's still a little too early to plant the tomatoes, but they are hardening off along with the basil and other herbs.

I am pretty sure that my neck and back will be complaining louder than the Mr. Knees later today.

Always enjoy catching up on the goings on of TBN, beautiful morning here, 70s right now headed to high 80s. I need to get some water timers set up and going this weekend. Get some projects planned that I have put off too long.

70°F and .88 inches rain. Hoping today is drier.

Went by LS dealer yesterday, requested a quote. Tractor comes with Ag tires. I’ve always had R4s and had hoped it did. Could be a deal breaker, honestly don’t know. Such a small dealer, no option to change. Tempted to wonder if maybe I try them, perhaps I could replace myself some time in future, but I suspect that is an expensive option. Mostly concerned about possible rutting or marking while mowing. Any thoughts?

Wife convinced me to delay the brick /paver installation until after the plumber finishes which will give more time for trench to settle. This rain helps. I may have some landscape cloth to lay in before next sand layer. Also looks like the 2 end bricks will have to be bedded in concrete for stability.

I’ll bet someone ambitious could compile quite the book with all the awesome pictures posted here.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
