Good morning all. Two cups of coffee down and out I go as the sun comes up.
Battery charger on water wagon battery, then off to garden to set sprinklers.
Using one on potato field. Otherwise will lose the crop. Next two days are 98 degrees which means over a hundred.
My potatoes are suffering a much too premature baking. This weather is absolutely the opposite of last year, almost like a Bermuda high
is keeping the weather from reaching this area, heads North mid state.

Good morning, no Bermuda sun here, it is overcast with a cool wind - though not quite as cold as CWB's place.

I am still feeling a little sleepy, not helped by the neighbours security alarm going off in the middle of the night. Max was not impressed, so we went out for a short walk and I had the unexpected pleasure of seeing a shooting star tearing through the night sky before finally fading out somewhere to the north.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 58° with rain this morning. Heading to 68° with rain ending in AM. Yesterday turned out a lot better than forecast. Sun and 80°. Not much planned today. Everything is so set outside. It's hard to do anything.

49F cloudy upper 60's for high...if it doesn't rain I'll be surprise.

Chores done critters enjoying breakfast I am enjoying E muffin.
Plans for today... Mrs. wants wooden wall put up by the freezer and stain so off to Home Depot for lumber,than get my ruler crayons out and have at it.

Good Morning!!!! 62F @ 4:15AM. Mainly sunny to start, then a few afternoon clouds. A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible. High near 85F. Winds light and variable.

The weather guessers are predicting afternoon thunderstorms through the weekend for most if the Sierra Nevada foothills. We got a very light rain yesterday evening, just enough to hear on the steel porch cover, but not enough to even wet the ground. No lightning, either, a good thing as the grass is already drying out and there have been several small wild fires already. Time to get the ladder out and clean out the gutters again.

Seems like there's a fair amount of meteor activity this time of year, Eric. Still pretty lucky to see a bright one, though. Maybe you should purchase a lottery ticket today?:laughing:

Managed to get the red dirt bike started yesterday, fired right up on the first push of the button. Tweaked carbs and timing, and will do a little more of that before going for a ride today. Then maybe start putting the tractor back together; I need the bench space its parts are taking up.

76 degrees this morning, going for a windy 83 and a 90% chance of rain this afternoon and tonight. And of course we sure don't need the rain.

Good morning, 63 now, supposed to get 80 with a lot of humidity. 70% chance of thunder boomers today, about the same as last 2 days. The storms went south of us Monday night, we got rain, yesterday there were lots of warnings, sky was threatening, but we got nothing.

1st cup of coffee is gone, need another. Enjoying the week off work. Spent hours in the garden and getting the patio back in shape after winter. Fired up the grill and cooked supper on it for the first time this year.

Drew, we will send you some water....we have plenty...though nothing like what people are dealing with in the Midwest.

Well better get moving, got a lot to do today.
