Going with kubota Z421 ztr. Local dealer same price, so will get it there.
Have fun, be careful on slopes.
Porta power, log splitters,TnTs, etc... got me to thinking. Turns out my screw jack only has 9 inches travel at best. A lot of work to make 41 ft.
So I’m thinking, hmmm, I have an unused hydraulic cylinder from my first flail mower. Managed to mangle the hoses so hanging on the wall. I also have my recently arrived hydraulic offset for my new flail. Still in the box as this propane thing has had my working attention lately. Wondered about length of hoses. Appears they are just long enough. Hooked them to old cylinder and tractor. About 13.5 inches of travel for that ram. Should be able to get at least 12” usable. So, modifying my approach and will let the cylinder do the work. I think I can do a better job of straight on push than with the backhoe. No idea how much power, 2 inch cylinder and will be powered by my rear remotes.
Similar to Ron, only I figured 2300 psi and you get over 7000lbs of force, so be careful. Maybe start with the engine at low rpms?
Good morning! 45 now. May get to 67 later and dry again today. Supposed to be near 90 this weekend.
2nd cup of coffee is almost gone. And I am soon gonna be gone to work for the day.....
We worked outside last evening. More progress for yard work for the year. May start putting some plants into the garden this evening.
Good luck on finding a new mower Buckeye......Lawn care equipment are a pain....gotta have them, not all that reliable....IME.
Kyle...keep an eye on #20/#69 Sunday at Springfield. There seems to be something special about this race for those 2.
Everyone have a safe and good day.
Will do Rich. You going? Should I place my bets?
So now I'm in the back yard watching it rain with the animals and watching the golfers chase umbrellas. One went about 300 yards before he finally caught up with it.
Were you going over your CPR training steps in your mind while the guy chased it down?
Sleep deprivation.
I was up at 2:00AM or so, and found this (NSFW).
Been up ever since. Probably should try to snag a few more hours of sleep, but just got a workable quote from another solar contractor, and really should go through it and get back to them while the iron is hot...
No rest for the wicked...
Sleep deprivation here too last night...
Wow. Synesthesia anyone? Thanks for sharing that, RNG. (almost feel like I need a shower after watching that :ashamed![]()
yah, count me in with synesthesia. 1st I've heard that term.
OK team, My wife's parents said they would kick in and help get my daughter the nicer set of noise cancelling headphones. I didn't know which my wife had ordered, since I last told her to just get the $99 set.
Well I open the package and it's the nice Sonys. Yes, they were over $300. Wife got a one day deal from Newegg she sez for 279.
Anyway, they are simply amazing for noise cancellation. Pretty much any constant noise such as fans and such, gets zapped to almost Zero. It's like going into a sensory deprivation chamber for hearing. I'm going to borrow them tomorrow to see how quiet they make the road noise in my commuter car go down to. I just read this about using them in Texas. Not illegal, but I could see if you put them on to blare music....
VERIFY: Is it illegal to wear headphones while driving? | khou.com
I'll try them on the mower next weekend.
