RNG, your a day ahead of schedule...tomorrow is hump day.... You have the same stuff as Looking for new?

Sleep deprivation.

I was up at 2:00AM or so, and found this (NSFW).

Been up ever since. Probably should try to snag a few more hours of sleep, but just got a workable quote from another solar contractor, and really should go through it and get back to them while the iron is hot...

No rest for the wicked...

Good Morning ..... from the "Park". It's 78°F this morning, overcast with gusting winds. Forecast indicates "only" 86°F for this afternoon with 50% chance of rain mid-day.

Special prayers for folks in N. Texas and Oklahoma getting hammered by very bad weather.

I hooked up the 84" rear finish mower yesterday and got busy on the "Park" and wild flowers.

With high temperature and high humidity yesterday, the cab and A/C was appreciated.

I found some Oregon blades, for the RFM, and it cuts as well as our Kubota ZD-1211. The Oregon blades are about 1/8" shorter than the LS OEM blades but with the blade overlap, there's no gaps. Oregon also makes Gator Mulching Blades that will match my RFM. Will try a set of those, next blade change.

My "Skin So Soft" bug repellent, sun block, skin cream, snake bite antidote, and solar flare preventer ....... should be in my mailbox by about 2 p.m. . Full review .... in a day or two.

Hoping everyone has a productive "Hump Day Eve" today.

Prayers to all.

The low was 32° this morning. Yesterday was in the upper 40's with snow showers off and on all day, it all melted. Today isn't going to be much different, a 80% chance of mixed showers and back in the 40's.

Not sure what I'll be doing today.

Hope everyone has a good day.

48°F and rain this morning, going up to 84° today.

Wife asked me Sunday if I was done with my coat for the year, so she can get it off the hooks in the laundry room and get it dry cleaned. I told her I was, but had to change that this morning. A little brisk out there.

The severe stuff yesterday missed us. Sounds like we may not be as lucky for round two tonight. With both a playoff hockey game and a baseball game in town, and the weather expected to hit right around the end of both games and 60K people trying to leave downtown STL, that could get messy.

We bought the "Service Plan" on my Kia Soul. After it expired (75K miles), I took it in for another scheduled service around 90K miles. The $600+ cost for that service was no different than what we had been paying during the service plan. It appeared that the only thing the plan provided was an economic boost for Kia. I'll not be doing that again.

Wow. Synesthesia anyone? Thanks for sharing that, RNG. (almost feel like I need a shower after watching that :ashamed:)

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!

A partly sunny, breezy 42ºF for today's low temp; a mostly sunny, breezy 51ºF presently; and I expect a breezy mostly sunny afternoon with ~60ºF as the high temperature. Coffee consumed, birds counted, Brogen walked. A great day to be outside; too windy for blackflies.

"... Got my PTB and have it installed. I was hoping to leave my straight cutting bar in place. It would not work, I would have needed to drill the bolt holes half in the thicker bracing of the bucket and half out, so I took the cutting bar off. Plus my cutting bar was quite thick and would not let the PTB slide into it's holding brackets very far.? Lynn Nice looking toothbar; definitely looks functional. I think two old pictures posted here on TBN of my toothbar is self-explanatory:embarrassed:

I don't do any carnival/fair rides. One year I helped set up some rides for a county fair. The pins holding those rides together are pretty lightweight. I am surprised that there are so few "newsworthy carnival ride accidents.

BEF- I am happy to read your posts after your mower challenges.

Drew- Good luck with the pickles. I make my own semi sour garlic Kosher dill pickles. Some years they come out great some years not so great. The different Kosher salt packages come with varying degrees of coarseness which affects the brining solution. This year I am using Alton Brown's brine mix based on Kosher salt weight not volume.

Rick- Nice looking park.

"Synesthesia?"- Now I have to watch

I hope that everyone is having a decent day.

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Yeah, too bad about her potty mouth. Lots of very RAW talent, though, and I hope she lives long enough to mature into a fine artist/musician.

Bird, is there a deductible in the service contract. My home warranty had a deductible of $75 and we had an intermittent leaking dishwasher. after paying two service calls and not being able to find the problem or get it replaced I just bought another dishwasher and told the warranty company I was very disappointed in them.

I have not gotten one on my new car because KIA was having a problem telling me the full amount instead of the monthly amount. I have bought extended warranties in the past and every time I would have been ahead just paying for the repairs. I figured the Service contract for the new car was going to be about $3k and a little more with no deductible. The online reviews are either love or hate with most hate.

Don, since the car is still under the factory warranty, the policy I got is for 84 months, and yes, there's a $100 deductible, and cost an astronomical (to me) $2460. As with many other things, I hope I never need it. I'm ahead of the game with such policies on our washer/dryer, a window unit A/C, and a TV (zero deductible on those). But obviously they expect to MAKE money, not lose it, on such policies. One reason I wanted it on this car is because it has the turbo. I can remember when turbos were expensive and short lived, but they seem to have greatly improved them in more recent years.
