Good morning!!!!

65 degrees this morning going for a high of 83. About 6 a.m., as I was putting my hearing aids in my ears, I learned that we were getting a heavy rain It appears that the heavy stuff passed pretty quickly and only left a half inch in my gauge, but more lighter rain on the way this morning. And if, or when, it ever quits raining and dries up a bit, I sure need to mow the yard.

With my fast fading memory, I may have mentioned this before, but . . . . more than 2 years ago, I leased a new car; a 2017 Ford Escape Titanium. Lots of people have told me how great these lease deals are, but I still think it's a dumb idea unless you want a new car pretty frequently and don't mind making payments all your life. Now my car is not nearly as fancy as Txdon's new car, but I have the small engine that has averaged 25.933 mpg in 21476 miles, and with the turbo, it has plenty of power for me. And the Titanium version has all the bells and whistles I'd ever want, plus some. So nearly a month ago, I went by the dealer, and paid in full to just buy the car outright. And while I know it's usually not a really great idea, I went ahead and paid for an "extended warranty" (service policy) for the next 6 years. Of course none of us know what the future holds, but I expect this to be the last car I ever buy. And the dealer called yesterday and I need to go by to pick up the new license plates and such today.

Lynn, nice PTB. They did not have them when I bought a Long tooth Bar. It weighs 120 lbs. Are the PTB's lighter.

Prayers for all.

Good Morning All.

Just guessing but I think the PTB comes in about 75-80 pounds.

Lynn, nice PTB! I want to get one, but can't even get them to answer the phone, website doesn't work to allow me to order, let alone get a price....maybe I just have to keep calling until someone answers...or maybe wait until they slow down...do they have a slow time?

Everyone have a great day! Prayers sent.

I would think winter is a slow time for them. For reference mine is 81.75" long and costed $480.00. That included the step drill bit & shipping.

It's odd that even the web site will not work for you. But, I do know they are very busy.

Good luck, I know I've wanted one for a few years. I finally just bought it!

Good Morning!!!! 49F @ 6:15AM. A few showers this morning with numerous thunderstorms developing during the afternoon hours. High 64F. Winds SE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 80%.

Another inside day. Only 0.1" of rain overnight, but it's been blowing hard, making it hard to sleep. Probably get a nap in sometime this afternoon.

Seat pedestal cut and drilled for the lock box, seat rails welded back on, bare metal painted, and now ready for carpet. But that's a job for a dry day.

Interested in the toothed bar discussions; the smooth lipped bucket on the Kubota just skips along the surface mostly, then when it digs in, the tractor doesn't have the muscle to keep it going.

EDIT: Tomorrow is Happy Hump Day!

OK looks good, aggressive, but what are the advantages to the PTB.

I'm new to attachments and have had my problems with tearing into a banking without using the bachhoe, was wondering if I might gain something by using one of these PTB.

When using your FEL to dig, breaking up the soil/ground with the teeth makes it much easier. Same concept for a backhoe. Think how hard it would be to dig with a backhoe without teeth on the bucket.

RNG, It's not so much that you are off a day, but that it made me think that I lost a day!!

Good morning! 63˚F raining.
We had a fireWise clearing session this morning but quickly got rained out.

So now I'm in the back yard watching it rain with the animals and watching the golfers chase umbrellas. One went about 300 yards before he finally caught up with it.

Bird, is there a deductible in the service contract. My home warranty had a deductible of $75 and we had an intermittent leaking dishwasher. after paying two service calls and not being able to find the problem or get it replaced I just bought another dishwasher and told the warranty company I was very disappointed in them.

I have not gotten one on my new car because KIA was having a problem telling me the full amount instead of the monthly amount. I have bought extended warranties in the past and every time I would have been ahead just paying for the repairs. I figured the Service contract for the new car was going to be about $3k and a little more with no deductible. The online reviews are either love or hate with most hate.
